We love to go to this place. You need reservations for weekends and holidays. They have a wonderful selection of steaks, seafood, lamb and other dishes that no one else in the area serves. We love the appetizers. Their creme brulee is to die for! Very reasonable prices for the quality! You will never be disappointed!

I celebrated my birthday at Olde Richmond Inn with my family and really enjoyed it. It's become a sort of tradition because the food is great and the atmosphere makes the meals more special than a regular restaurant experience. I don't think their food or service is spectacular, but it is more than good and I really enjoy it when... More

I went hoping to enjoy what I had heard was the best prime rib in the area. It looked more like a ribeye and was anything but tender. The vegetables were good and the waitress was extremely attentive. She offered to send my entree back but I declined ( I always do as I have heard to many horror stories... More

We've never had a bad experience at the Old Richmond Inn. The Bar BQ ribs are the best Ive ever eaten. The service is outstanding. The joint is cool. Try to sit in one of the back rooms. Prices are really good. Which begs the question. Why would anyone settle for chain restaurant food when you could have food like... More

this is a marvelous place. You can just feel the history. It is an upscale place and the food and service are very classy. Try the special- it is always different and very good. Also the steaks are really good.

Attended a dear friend's wedding reception here. Such a quaint place and the food was wonderful. My filet mignon was cooked perfect. Richmond is about an hour from where I live, so I probably won't be in the area again. However, if I do find myself near, I definitely will stop for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.

Great food, price and quiet atmosphere for a family of four after a loud football game. The small separate rooms are cool. We'll be back.

While traveling from Virginia to Iowa we swung into Richmond to stop for lunch. Reviews sounded good for The Olde Richmond Inn. Expectations were high. Both our meals were better than expected. My pepper steak was tender and very well seasoned. It was perfectly decorated with cheese and peppers. The black bean soup that came with the special was thick... More

With it's many small rooms, this is a great place for family celebrations the lamb is tender (if you want it rare, emphasize it to your waiter). The scallops are also well cooked. The salads are nothing special, but the soups do have some flare. The cooking here is not innovative, but well prepared, nice presentation and reasonably priced.
