I love Cracker Barrell

If you've been to one you've pretty much been to them all, the only difference I've ever noticed is the service. Unfortunately I got a bad one on this trip, first time ever. I wanted one egg, order on bacon and hash browns and she informed me that she was going to save me money by charging me for... read more

Trout, meat loaf, turnip greens with pepper vinegar on the side, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, raspberry lemonade in a frosted glass, cornbread with blackberry jam--a shop with DVDs, humorous coffee cups. What's not to like?

Everyone was extremely friendly and we were warmly greeted as we entered the building. Cracker Barrel likes to promote this type of atmosphere but not every location lives up to the hype. This one does. I saw smiles all around and everyone was very welcoming. Our food came up missing a side but our waitress was very apologetic and remedied... More

Customer services is horrible, food not to Cracker Barrel standard. Meatloaf was not done. Did not get all of the food I ordered. Corn Bread doughy inside. Had to wait 15 mins to be seated at a table not big enough for my party. Waitress took a long time to take our order. Manager was rude.

We met family at this place. The service was okay but some food arrived barely warm. Gravy had a slim layer of harden gravy. It was not what I expected

This place tries to ooze country Americana but it seems forced and overly commercial. For starters, you have to walk through a general store area to access the restaurant. The restaurant isn't anything special in the wait staff is friendly. The food, however, is rather bland. It also comes with far too many sides. The one item that I selected... More

There are times it seems that I travel from one Cracker Barrel to another. When I am traveling I will often go to a Cracker Barrel because the food is decent and there are no "regional surprises" as in TexMex Chili gets hotter the closer you get to the border or the menu changes from state to state.

Cracker Barrel restaurants are all pretty much the same everywhere you go. The menu is standard and the food is generally of consistent quality. We stopped at the Richmond Cracker Barrel for dinner on a cross-country trip. One thing I liked was that they give the reduced price lunch menu anytime, even for dinner, so long as they have the... The thing about Cracker Barrel is you always know what to expect. Don't expect a bistro, or a cafe, or even a diner. What you can expect is friendly staff, good food, good prices, and a setting that resembles an old time antiques store with a large stone fireplace. For breakfast I always have one blackberry pancake (with whipped cream)... More

A friend brought my wife and I to this place so we could have a "different" breakfast experience...and she was right. Since we come from the Philippines we were pleasantly surprised! Before we entered the restaurant we looked around the souvenir store that carried almost everything. When we finally had breakfast we had delicious flapjacks, scrambled eggs, sausages,Virginia ham and bacon that... More
