I love Cracker Barrell

If you've been to one you've pretty much been to them all, the only difference I've ever noticed is the service. Unfortunately I got a bad one on this trip, first time ever. I wanted one egg, order on bacon and hash browns and she informed me that she was going to save me money by charging me for... read more

This place tries to ooze country Americana but it seems forced and overly commercial. For starters, you have to walk through a general store area to access the restaurant. The restaurant isn't anything special in the wait staff is friendly. The food, however, is rather bland. It also comes with far too many sides. The one item that I selected... More

There are times it seems that I travel from one Cracker Barrel to another. When I am traveling I will often go to a Cracker Barrel because the food is decent and there are no "regional surprises" as in TexMex Chili gets hotter the closer you get to the border or the menu changes from state to state.

Cracker Barrel restaurants are all pretty much the same everywhere you go. The menu is standard and the food is generally of consistent quality. We stopped at the Richmond Cracker Barrel for dinner on a cross-country trip. One thing I liked was that they give the reduced price lunch menu anytime, even for dinner, so long as they have the... The thing about Cracker Barrel is you always know what to expect. Don't expect a bistro, or a cafe, or even a diner. What you can expect is friendly staff, good food, good prices, and a setting that resembles an old time antiques store with a large stone fireplace. For breakfast I always have one blackberry pancake (with whipped cream)... More

A friend brought my wife and I to this place so we could have a "different" breakfast experience...and she was right. Since we come from the Philippines we were pleasantly surprised! Before we entered the restaurant we looked around the souvenir store that carried almost everything. When we finally had breakfast we had delicious flapjacks, scrambled eggs, sausages,Virginia ham and bacon that... More

8 of us from my husband's family went there recently for lunch. The food was good as it always is at Cracker Barrel. We got our food in a timely manner, nice and hot just like we ordered. However, our table was not pre bused after our meal and we had to ask for refills for our water. The restaurant... More

If you are traveling through Richmond & looking for a place to stop to eat with good food and service and clean this is the place. Do NOT go to Bob Evans.

Eating at the Cracker Barrel today brought back wonderful memories of eating at Cracker Barrel north of Nashville on vacations with my family more than 30 years ago. The chicken and dumplings still leave me craving more. The rocking chairs on the porch encourage you to slow down and talk with.other travelers. The staff understand the value of a smile... More

My husband and I were three days into our trip to the east coast when we stopped for lunch at the Cracker Barrel in Richmond, IN. My husband is not crazy about Cracker Barrel, but we stopped anyway. It took 15 minutes or longer to seat us, it was not during lunch, and there were about 6 other tables with... More
