My husband and I were traveling in mid-October and arrived with just 5 minutes before the kitchen closed. The friendly manager on duty made us feel welcome and said the kitchen would be happy to stay open for our dinner. We had really excellent burgers and a nice side salad and never once were made to feel rushed. Will return... More

We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer because the description on the menu made them sound delicious. After cutting into a couple of the filled mushrooms caps, we discovered mostly breading and only tiny bits of pink which tasted very little like real crabmeat. We asked our server about this and she informed us that the crabmeat in... More

After reading your review to our crab mushrooms on trip advisor I wanted to let everyone know about them. the Crab Mushrooms have been on our menu since opening day August 5 1985. They are our top selling Appetizer both in the Restaurant and our Banquet room. The stuffing is made in house with a combination of ingredients, one being... More

I had one of the pasta dishes and even though the "bowl" was huge with a large lip there was barely a cup of pasta in it. The sauce was decent but again it was a stingy portion. Even the salad I had before my entree was noticeably small with one sliver of tomato. I wouldn't recommend you go if... More

My family went to the Brass Rail often when I was growing up and I remember my dad saying it was the "best food in town." This past week I went with my fiance and we both agreed we wouldn't return anytime soon. Our server, a woman named Kellie, seemed out of sorts to begin with. She wasn't really rude,... More

I travel a lot ... larger cities and small towns ... The Brass Rail is great. Brandi, not sure if it is an "i" or a "y", but you get the idea - she was great. Excellent recommendation with the chicken breast club sandwich, great service at the bar and a "Cheers-esk" cliental. I have a great time whenever I... More

Brass Rail is the very best restaurant in Plymouth. As much as I love TripAdvisor, they are totally wrong on this one. On my latest visit, I had done two intense days of work in Michigan City and came into Plymouth to work there the next two days. I was looking for a great meal, at a leisurely pace. Haley,... More

We've been coming here on our way to Michigan for the past 15 years. It's our reason for stopping over in Plymouth. It just keeps getting better and better. I don't think it matters what you order, our meals have always been good. My husband had the liver and onions. The portions are very ample and he his looking forward... More

Really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, tender and not dry. However, it was a little heavy on the seasoning. Don't know why so many restaurants do that so be sure to tell them to go light on it. When you order one of the premium wines, they give you a real glass full for... More

Lunch time at the Rail has always been great! The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. Once they get to know you, they know what you want before you have to ask for it. Service is superb!

My husband and I were passing through town and stopped here. We both ordered the fish dinner. It took several minutes for our drinks and salad to arrive. After waiting at least 50 minutes we still did not have our fish. We were told the had a big party in the other room. Very disappointed we wasted a dinner without... More
