I talked with the owner and he was very interested in proving the best wines, coffee, and ice cream to the public. I'm hoping to go to one of his wine tastings soon.

Visiting my son in Newburgh we stopped at Cafe Arazu for dinner. The food was good with an interesting array of dishes offered, mainly Mediterranean and Indian. I had a combination dish with steak and lamb, called a sultani? It was good, the steak was perfect and the lamb, while being a little dry, was very tasty. The waitress was... More

My wife and I ate here on a Wednesday mid afternoon. It was so beautiful outside that we decided to sit in the garden terrace. Flowers and plants were everywhere and we had a beautiful view of the Ohio River. Our waitress, Katie, immediately took our drink and appetizer orders. We ordered the Shepard salad platter for an appetizer. It... More

I find Cafe Arazu hit or miss. I only go when there's good outdoor weather and LOVE the look and ambiance of the patio. I've been two times in the last two months but hadn't been for a few years. As a vegetarian, I'm pleased with the newer menu's additional offerings but the food is, sadly, under-flavored and a single... More

We love this place. Have eaten here several times. Food is always great. Service is very good. A very eclectic menu with something for everyone. And with a view of the river, what more could you ask for!

The menu here is somewhat eclectic, as it seems to include not just Mediterranean but Indian and other influences as well. The result is a menu that's out of the ordinary to say the least. I was here with a couple who eat here regularly and they had a very high opinion of the food and service. Cafe Arazu did... More

My husband and I went back for our Anniversary, May 1st. I had called almost a week in advance and mentioned it was our anniversary and that we really felt they had become our new favorite place! When we arrived they were not as busy as usual because it was a Thursday. We were given tiny (24 inch) metal table... More

Ben and Penny are the owners and doing a very respectable job of keeping the natives coming back. Always a good sign that the owners respect the customers! Outside seating overlooking Newburgh's 2.5 mile walking/biking trail where you can work up an appetite, or work off a meal. Sunset seems to be the most popular time as they can be... More

went here for the first time on a date night with my husband. I loved the drink special of the night- recommended by the server. The food was good. People in the area told me it was a nice place. I liked the atmosphere. We had appetizers- they were slightly different than expected but still good. The entrees were very... More
