Whether eating in or carry out Salatories in New Haven (East) has never done me wrong. Excellent food, great staff. The West store is more "eat in " appropriate due to more room (more spacious w/ bar) but with same great food.

From the outside, you may even wonder if you want to venture inside. It is sharing a building with a gas station, and not in a location that would generally invite fabulous food options. This is the exception. Go out of your way to eat here. There is very limited seating inside, but it is worth the wait. Everything from... More

Ignore the fact that it is in a truck plaza connected to a gas station. Also plan to wait for a table. Outstanding Italian food. Very small only seats about 48 people. This is the original location with a second location in Fort Wayne. The food was excellent and service was efficient and very friendly. A definite place to grab... More

First time we tried this place was with another couple. Nobody knew what to expect since it was connect to a Gas a Station. Hmmm I persuaded them to give it a try and we were all blown away. Portions are Huge, atmosphere is cozy and prices were right. Since I really don't do much pasta, I tried the sausage... More

This is located in a really unfortunate location. It's nestled next to a gas station and a Taco Bell. The interior is tiny, and the decor is completely uninspired. To use the bathroom, you have to walk through the kitchen. I'm all for small, local gems, but this isn't it. Small restaurants can still put effort into having nice tables... More

I have eaten here 3 times so far and it has always been great. Excellent food and service. It is pretty small and always busy, so you may have a wait.

Called ahead since I knew the restaurantwas small and I needed 2 child seats in my family of 7. Arrived before I told them I would and the table was ready with child seats in place. Service was outstanding. I never order spaghetti as it seems too boring, but their baked spaghetti (with lots of stuff that I can't remember... More

I have visited this small restaurant several times, and have never been disappointed. The portions are huge, so be prepared to take some home for leftovers. Our server was very attentive, and knowledgable about the menu choices. This place is slightly hard to find (it is in the same building with a Taco Bell and gas station), but well worth... More

We come from St. Louis where Italian food is king. This little restaurant hidden away behind a gas station rivals the best. Italian food found anywhere in St. Louis. Friendly, efficient staff and Sinatra music in the background. If we didn't live so far away, we'd go back in a heartbeat!

we were recommended to this little Italian Gem! Food was excellent, portion sizes large. Wait staff went out of their way to accommodate one of our friends who did not want garlic in the butter brushed on the bread sticks and on top of her beef roll. Side salad was OK with a lot of iceberg lettuce. Prices were very... More
