Very Good Sunday Brunch Value

This was our first visit and it was very good overall. Excellent value for $15 per person. Even had live background guitar music. The brunch choices are not large, but are adequate and all were very good. There were 3 salad-type items, a chicken entree, eggs Benedict, French toast, potatoes... read more

The decor & ambiance are attractive, quaint, & intimate. The server was pleasant. Live guitar music added. Unfortunately we came for the food: breakfast buffet. Several dishes had an "off" flavor and I could not eat them. The scone was brick hard. Our omelet was fine but otherwise this was a very unusual dining experience due to food not being... More

Charming ambiance & decor, other than that food was just awful. Brunch consisted of gray- looking pasta, lentil salad with a unique vinegar taste, and a pinkish potato salad that tasted like it had spoiled. Continuing on, eggs benedict on English muffin were great, bacon was crunchy, fried potatoes were fried potatoes- we're still trying to figure out what was... More

We entered and we were greeted by a very charming lady. We sat and we proceeded to order. Louis came out to say hello. And then it all went down hill quickly. Our waitress was at a complete loss, The wine glasses were dirty. I had the four course dinner, in my side of broccoli, a piece of metal! I... More

The service was great! The chef and owner (Louis) came out at different times to make sure we enjoyed our experience. All of the food was so delicious. I had the duck with orange sauce. It was so tender and mouth watering. Great flavors. Only complaint I have is that the food I had leftover was taken and I didn't... More

I don't know how good the regular menu is, but we are surely going to go back and try it based on the food we received eating the Sunday Brunch. We usually go out for lunch after church on Sunday and if possible we like to eat "local". I saw them listed on trip advisor and my family decided to... More

We shared a meal with friends and experienced just a little bit of France. The salad was fine, the bread delicious--I could have eaten the entire loaf, and the entrees very good. All of the staff we met were lovely people including chef Louis himself. I believe we may well return despite a fairly long drive.

My family and I ate at Louis le Français shortly after it opened and thought it was a bit expensive. We really wanted to like this place, though, so we gave it a couple more tries. There was a street festival in front of the restaurant once, and they were selling roast beef sandwiches for $7. There were some delicious... More

I ordered crepes and got something that a totally inexperienced cook might prepare and call crepes. Not crepes, not a tortilla, not a pancake, nothing I would want to eat. Burnt to boot. My companion had a salad which had lettuce which might have been out of a bag which had been left open in the fridge for a week.... More

We enjoyed our Valentine's eve dinner a lot. Service was very friendly. Escargot was wonderful. Old school, with the shell holder, nice. Hubby had French onion soup. Good but not to our taste. Had a sour note likely from lemon or vinegar that didn't wow us. Lobster and crab bake was AMAZING. Like a pot pie but without the crust.... More
