Very nice meal, friendly staff

We enjoyed our Valentine's eve dinner a lot. Service was very friendly. Escargot was wonderful. Old school, with the shell holder, nice. Hubby had French onion soup. Good but not to our taste. Had a sour note likely from lemon or vinegar that didn't wow us. Lobster and crab bake was AMAZING... read more

We went for our Valentine's Dinner the week before Valentine's Day because my boyfriend was going to be out of town. The restaurant is quaint and small, which I liked. It was a bit chilly where we sat and we weren't too close to the door. I would recommend a table on the opposite side of the door and request... More

Although the restaurant is small, the dining experience is big. You wouldn't expect this french cuisine on a quiet southern Indiana street, but there it is, ready for anyone to come in and enjoy it's full menu. We weren't quite ready for such a long dinner, but it was worth it and the musician added to the quaint ambiance. Nice... More

We arrived at 6:55 for our 7:00 reservation and were told we were going to sit at a table right in the entryway. It was 8 degrees outside! We asked for another table and were told they were full and if we wanted to wait we could. Our gut was telling us to walk out the door, we should have.... More

We arrived at 6:15, seated at 6:18, and ordered at 6:50. When a waiter, not the waitress who took our order and brought us our drinks, returns to your table at 8:00 with the following question "You look like you've been waiting a while, can you remind of what you ordered"....that's not a good sign. Pork tenderloin was fantastic, but... More

My family arrived at 5:20 (15 minutes before opening, but the door was open, and the lights on.) We were really excited to close out our homeschool unit learning about France with a meal from Louis. We stood at the hostess station for a good 2 minutes watching what I think was the floor manager talk on the phone taking... More

We celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful full meal. We enjoyed a clean tasting sparkling wine. We ordered the cheese plate with n several interesting cheeses and walnut accompanied by great bread. The best cheese was the blue and a goat cheese with cranberries. My wife had the coq au vin, which was great even though I only had one... More

My wife and I went there for a date night. I completely disagree with the other reviews. The price was completely reasonable, and the food was amazing. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Once we identified our discount coupon we were almost ignored. The restaurant is small and has wood floors, the only waitress working (under staffed for the number of customers) was wearing shoes that echoed (reverberated) as she walked to such an extent we found it extremely annoying. For the most part the food was good. However, the french onion soup... More

It was unclear whom our server was. The staff rarely checked on us and when they did, they didn't follow through with our requests (water and bread). Meanwhile bread and water was served to other customers. All in all the atmosphere was also. We did not feel welcome at all. The food was good, but I would not pay for... More
