Lunch Stop "Back In Time"

Walking and enjoying all the artists' wares can wear you out! I was wanting something different and local so a local steered me in the direction of their old corner drugstore. When I visit Nashville, this is a place I look forward to visiting. I love the atmosphere and the history. I've been satisfied with every meal I've had here. Wine down Wednesday was great!

We stopped for a great breakfast with locally grown ingredients and fresh baked bread--the friendly staff accomodated my special request and we took a loaf of bread home

Needing a place to eat while in Nashville for the night we stumbled upon the Hobnob. I say stumbled but it is right on main street. I don't know what perception I had from the name

It was crowded but service was excellent. My waitress was perfect and food got to us very fast especially with as many people there. The food was perfect I had the Hash and it was fantastic with an ample portion my wife just had the basic scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. Not a large portion but she got the dill... More

Arrived about 5:30 on a Saturday evening with 5 people and were seated right away. Service was very prompt. Ordered: open face turkey (small, no sides), bratwurst (delicious, was able to substitute salad and fries for vegetables and sauerkraut), Ruben (tasty, subbed a salad for vegetables), sausage sandwich (very good, subbed a salad), cheeseburger (good, juicy, nice size). Blue cheese... More

I've eaten at the Hobnob every time in Nashville, and look forward to going again in May. Should you like liver and onions-- order them as they are marinaded in red wine and the best I've ever tasted. My wife loves the beef presentations. All breads, to my knowledge, is baked in house and delightful.

Wife and I decided on this restaurant while doing a little shopping in Nashville on a Friday afternoon. Service staff was decent as the place was not very busy at all. We decided on sandwiches even though the menu touted more towards full lunches and dinners. Tenderloin was average (wife) and cheeseburger was also average (me). I had specifically asked... More

The Hobnob is a foodies dream. When I am in Brown County I always eat here. This trip I had fresh made Brats with Sauerkraut and Apples. It was AMAZING!! My daughter had the Salmon and her friend had A Spaghetti and they said it was delicious. The service is always great and I love the atmosphere.

My favorite restaurant in Nashville. Love the old building. The server was very nice. Food was very good. Had the asparagus salad. Menu was a neat variety of "fancy" and "down home". Had the best strawberry shortcake I had ever had. Stop there each time I am in Nashville. Would definitely recommend it and will be back.
