Great Food

This is a very quaint place with great food and service. We ate lunch and breakfast. They have a "magic" drawer with some fun stuff inside.

First of all the place is like Grandmas house which I loved. Food was very good. I only ordered soup since I wanted to try their coffee-toffee pie. Waitress took my order for the soup of the day & then brought out another soup stating they did not have the one I ordered and placed it in front of me... More

We went to this restaurant twice for breakfast. It is set in a historic building downtown. Our food was delicious and it arrived super fast. Very well priced also.

Waited in line for their Apple Crisp and when it was our turn to be seated, were told they were out but would have more the next day. Went back the next day and were seated and ordered and then was told they were sold out for the season. Very disappointed. Other than that, food was good.

We were in Nashville for the weekend recently and managed to eat here three times. The breakfast menu was one sheet of the basics. They did everything well - fresh eggs, crispy thick-sliced bacon, home-made biscuits with gravy that was not overly seasoned like they do at a lot of other restaurants. The big plus with this and all the... More

Old and funky....like it should be! Great food! The pepper steak soup with liver & onions and a glass of red wine was perfect. Service is good...sometimes it gets busy. Homemade bread to go too! My first stop in Nashville!

The breakfast menu has many items that I really enjoy. The fresh bread they sell at the counter is great too!

This little historic gem is well worth the travel time. Went in on a Wednesday evening, where they we're featuring their "Wine-down Wednesday". We purchased a nice bottle of wine for $14 (part of the special) and enjoyed some very good guitar music by Jeff Foster. The atmosphere was quaint - reminiscent of an old corner store. The people were... More

We saw the reviews and decided to try out Hobnob Corner on Saturday, January 17. We got there at about 5:30, and didn't have to wait. It took a while to get our order, but it was worth the wait. The menu has some interesting choices and we picked liver and onions and goulash. Both were very good as was... More

You walk into the Hobnob, and it looks like a familiar small town diner. You order one of the chef's specialties for dinner, and a well presented, well prepared fine dining entree comes out of the kitchen. Very good food and very good wine.
