I'm not sure if I went to the same place. I didn't have any experience near what the others have stated. Had Trout Almondine for 17.95, plus black beans soup (pretty good). Large portion fish, tasteless, had some awful oil on it. Almonds were roasted nicely except more than a few had a burnt taste. Vegetables were truly aldente.... However... More

I only had the onion soup and a side salad but the soup was wonderful!! The menu was quite large for such a small restaurant. The history of the building and the owners add to the charm. Could stand to update the table & chairs-our were rather shaky! Over all I'm glad I stopped in but I wish I had... More

Food was average, yet service is amazing. The charm and the service makes the difference here. I just adore the architecture of the environment.

After checking into our hotel (the Artists Colony Inn), we walked about a block to dinner at the Hob Nob Corner, arriving about 5:30. We had eaten at the Hob Nob before (and enjoyed it) - a few years back. It is a highly rated place but tonight’s edition was a bit disappointing. Joan had a cheese burger when she... More

Service was great. Food tasted very good. A great selection of homemade foods. Quiche was especially tasty.

We've been here several times for breakfast, and our whole family loves it. Great pancakes, biscuits, egg dishes. Well, we've never ordered anything that we didn't love. And if that isn't good enough, take home some of their homebaked goods. Service is spectacular. Great coffee, and I am a coffee snob.

Read some great reviews about this restaurant. Talked everyone into having breakfast here. The place had great character from way back when. Really needs to be updated to keep the same charm tho. Sheet metal patched the floor in some areas. I only saw about 3 people smile at anyone. Our waitress never smiled, felt like we were bothering her... More

This place looks run down. The floor has sheet metal to cover holes. The waitress never smiled. My eggs were not cooked ( how can you not cook scrambled eggs?), when I brought this up to the waitress she said it was my FAULT. REALLY?

The atmosphere is historic & in a great location, but the place is noisy. While it didn't take long to get seated, our seats had food crumbs on them & our table was sticky. Staff was just average. It took forever to get our food. While the food was just okay, it wasn't as warm as it should have been.... More

history of the place was interesting. Not a floorboard was smooth, which added to the charm. Top notch coffee and friendly faces, good service.
