This little historic gem is well worth the travel time. Went in on a Wednesday evening, where they we're featuring their "Wine-down Wednesday". We purchased a nice bottle of wine for $14 (part of the special) and enjoyed some very good guitar music by Jeff Foster. The atmosphere was quaint - reminiscent of an old corner store. The people were... More

We saw the reviews and decided to try out Hobnob Corner on Saturday, January 17. We got there at about 5:30, and didn't have to wait. It took a while to get our order, but it was worth the wait. The menu has some interesting choices and we picked liver and onions and goulash. Both were very good as was... More

You walk into the Hobnob, and it looks like a familiar small town diner. You order one of the chef's specialties for dinner, and a well presented, well prepared fine dining entree comes out of the kitchen. Very good food and very good wine.

I live in the county and I still find Hob Nob the place I can count on to enjoy the whole dining experience. The food is always good, service friendly but not too friendly and nothing new about the building. Same is good.

Everyone told us to visit the Hobnob when we were in Nashville. We had a late supper and it was what we expected. The food was very god and reasonably priced. The service was good and helpful. We enjoyed the older building and respect what the owners are trying to do. Not every recommendation you get lives up to the... More

I have eaten breakfast in this restaurant several times and it is always good, hearty, nice portions and the staff is always very friendly. I have not eaten any other meals there but I can't imagine that anything would be bad.

We stopped here for lunch before leaving town. We were approached by a young woman that stood right in front of me and didn't say anything. I looked back at my husband and then turned to her and said "Two." She turned to look at the dining room and replied "I'll have to wash off a table." And waited for... More

This was our first visit so we were not sure what to order. I was VERY happy with my tuna melt. My husband had the smoked sausage sandwich. (not the homemade one.) served on a white bun with fries....average. The tuna melt was amazing! Great flavored tuna salad heaped on whole wheat with lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and covered with melted... More
