Pleasant Lunch Stop

This is often our first stop for lunch when we visit Nashville. I enjoy the early-American decor and good food. We were seated quickly, but were there midweek. My husband loved the breaded pork tenderloin he ordered. I ordered quiche and salad. The quiche was creamy, well-seasoned, and cheesy. The... read more

Typical fair in small town restaurant. We had pot pie and chicken salad. Chicken salad has too much mayonnaise. Pot pie was good, a little too much salt.

Stopped here for lunch. Had a good chicken salad and ham sandwich. Sevice was average, food was good. Also the place was clean and you have a nice view of Nashville from the dining room. Priced about what you would expect for this type of restaurant in this resort town.

We've eaten lunch here for two years in a row (on an annual family girl's trip) and have enjoyed delicious food from a varied menu and at reasonable prices, great service, and a busy but nice atmosphere! We'll be back again next year!

Seven of us from teens to oldsters stayed at the hotel & ate at the restaurant (3 buffet breakfasts & 1 dinner). The decor & feel of the restaurant was a great fit for both the hotel & the town (very Colonial feel). The dinner menu was varied but not so large as to overwhelm--something for everyone in our picky... More

We've been to the Artist Colony Inn many times, and we always make a point to get down for breakfast. The buffet is dependably good, but the fried biscuits with apple butter are world beaters. My wife and I talk about them for weeks in advance of our visit. Don't get me wrong...the other food at the restaurant is tasty... More

Great food, excellent service. Our waitress was a great person, she took very good care of us, made sure we had plenty to drink and that our food was exactly like we expected,

We went close to closing last time we ate there with a bunch of women, staff still waited on us like it was the beginning of their shift. They were friendly except for the hostess acted like she did not want to seat us. Food was very good and they were willing to make suggestions on items

Have eaten here on multiple trip to Brown County over the years. Most recent visit was the day before 4th of July, and despite the holiday weekend, service was excellent. My 4 year-old twins loved their meatloaf and gravy, and my parents had some great pulled pork barbeque. Will definitely eat here again and try the cobbler for dessert (overhead... More

We ate here twice while visiting Nashville, IN. Wonderful food. The chicken pot pie was scrumptious.
