Great service, fun atmosphere

My husband and I came here upon an area business owner's recommendation. We didn't have reservations but luckily it was a slow weeknight. That being said, our waitress said there are nights they may close if it's slow and they don't have any reservations so keep that in mind! The... read more

The Story Inn is a wonderful place for couples, business, solo, or even family. It is located right on State highway 135 south in beautiful Brown County, they have a nice wine selection along with beer on tap(or in the bottle) the Inn is right behind Brow County State Park. If your a horse man/woman there's trails from Brown County... More

Stopped here while visiting wine festival. Several of us had the peach cobbler, but it wasn't anything like what we expected. Instead of crispy crumbs mixed with peach filling, it was more like peach pie. Disappointing. And at 7 bucks, not a bargain. But area is attractive, in beautiful Brown County. Which almost makes it worth it.

Ate dinner at The Story Inn. We had reservations but arrived early. The staff got us in earlier. Food was terrific! Server forgot our appetizer but the dinner portions were large. Would definitely return!

We had our Anniversary dinner there on a Friday night around 6pm. We had reservations so we would have a seat for sure. Not too busy when we arrived. We enjoyed our dinner, but it was not fantastic by all means, but still gave it a 4. It is pricey, so be prepared to pay for it. All in all,... More

We walked in did not have a reservation was seated promptly and had a wonderful Easter breakfast. The food was above excellent, our waitress gave us the history of this inn (some say its haunted) the rooms were decorated in great taste, kinda taking a step back in time. They let us inspect rooms in case we wanted to stay... More

Quiet, romantic warm setting with fabulous food and service! Dinner was a little pricey but worth it! My husband had the filet and said it was one of the best he's ever had! My Cornish hen was also delicious and wonderfully moist. Our waitresses were friendly and warm. We will be back to little little treasure!

We had a very enjoyable lunch at the Story Inn. The food was excellent. The service was phenomenal. The old "stuff" decorating the dining room was so much fun to look at. We would like to stay here sometime.

We had always wanted to eat at the Story Inn when we were staying in Nashville, IN but never took the time to try it. What a mistake on our part. We have been missing one of the best dinners we have ever had. I made reservations for the Thursday before Valentine's Day. The selection for the starters, soups &... More

Although you didn't have to, we dressed up for a romantic birthday dinner when the restaurant offered a candlelight and gaslight Victorian dinner. The staff dressed in period outfits and the piano player even wore a top hat while playing holiday music, much of it from the Nutcracker! We arrived a bit early for our 6:30 reservation but were seated... More
