The rooms are very nice and clean. The restaurant has great food. Upstairs is a huge fireplace to relax by. Best time to go is in the fall. There is also a indoors waterpark with lazy river and a water slide. Nice trails close to the Lodge. Very romantic.

We had a wood burning fireplace with a connecting room for our children. Enjoyed the fireplace very much.

Had a great day antiquing in Southern Indiana. Stopped for dinner after visiting Nashville, IN at the Brown County State Park Abe Martin Lodge. Normally, you can count on a wonderfull "home cooked" type meal at any of the Indiana State Park Lodges. Tonight the cook was off his game with overcooked, greasy, cold fried chicken, raw in the center... More

Had dinner at the Abe Martin Lodge a week ago WOW! The buffet was delicious!!!! The salad bar was loaded with everything it was fresh well-stocked and tasty! The hot buffet had fried biscuits,{my favorite} several meat entree's, lots of vegetables and some great potatoes. Then there was dessert can I say more! Price for some might be a little... More

I came for an impromptu lunch on a Saturday. I had the salad bar with also included soup. It was the cleanest salad bar I've ever see and had an exceptional variety for a small place. Would've been 4 stars but the service is horrible. My waitress wasn't knowledgable about the menu items and non-attentive. I mean didn't wait on... More

The food was pretty good but not sure it was home made. The sweet tea was amazing! I think I drank 4 glasses! Atmosphere still makes the dinner worth it.

The buffet was ok, bland style food. I ordered just a grilled cheese and it was ok. Kinda burnt. It was really cheap so that was good and the setting was very nice but they need to step it up a bit on food flavor

We stopped at the Abe Martin Lodge restaurant for dinner. They had a buffet which we tried. The fried chicken was some of the best I have ever had. The meatloaf was juicy and tender. The bread pudding was the best I have ever had. They also had white cake with rum sauce that was delicious. The service was great,... More

This was probably our 40th trip to Brown Co State Park in 44 yrs but since we are senior citizens now we opt to stay in the main Lodge. Wonderful get together but the Lodge needs serious updating and renovation. The wi-fi needs to work in ALL the rooms not just the ones near the front desk and game rooms on... More
