We enjoyed that day's special of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and green beans. Delicious!

Its been at least 30 years since I was last at the Nashville House, but its not quite as good as I remember. Our waitress was very kind and friendly. The ham dinner was quite plentiful. But the side dishes (green beans and mashed potatoes and cole slaw) were unmemorable at the kindest. And even the fried biscuits and apple... More

Once a year or so, we have the chicken dinner at the Nashville House. So far, haven't tried anything else. Very good fried chicken. This time, the fried biscuits seemed smaller and didn't taste as good as I remember, but I still loved them. They brought no sugar added apple butter at my request. Another nice touch is the coleslaw... More

Their fried biscuits were still raw in the middle. The fried chicken tasted like they didnt even season it. Very over priced for the quality and amount you get. $14 was the cheapest meal I could find on the menu during lunch. Even the prices for the kids meals were ridiculous. For a regular priced dinner you're going to pay... More

If you have ate here before you will be let down. The food was average at best and the service was poor. The fried biscuits were still delicious but the rest was just overpriced, quality lacking food. The service was the worst. Very slow waitress even though it was a slow day. Had to raise hand and ask for a... More

Grabbed an early dinner here. Nice sit down atmosphere and decent prices. Server was very friendly, food excellent. The selection of items is outstanding and the amount of servings are fantastic. Highly recommend. Overall the food was great for the value. Never miss eating at Demos. No place has friendlier or more knowledgeable servers.

Our party of four ate here on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The ham, fried ham, and fried chicken dinners all received good reviews. My wife got the T-Bone, and she spent most of her time cutting around or spitting out gristle. It wasn't a very good piece of meat. As always, the fried biscuits and apple butter were excellent. Our... More

My husband and I have visited Nashville, IN many times over the years, and think it is a wonderful little town for a quick get-away. The menu is simple but country "fixins". A little pricey but I certainly have paid more plenty of times other places. The biscuits & apple butter are the best.

Four of us ate there last week. How disappointing. This USED to be a good place to eat. They used to serve home-cooked food...NOT anymore. Plus the prices are outrageous for southern Indiana. And to add insult to injury, our waitress was an old grouch. Two of us had the fried chicken and two had the baked ham, both "specials"... More

When we get to Nashville on Thursday, we always go the the Nashville House to have the all white chicker dinner. We cshare as it is enought to feed two people. Their deep fried biscuits are sooo good.
