Nice atmosphere

We usually stop in here every time we are in Nashville on Friday evenings. My husband likes the prime rib. They have amazing fried biscuits and apple butter-that's my favorite part! They have a small menu so don't expect a huge selection. Good service too-I didn't like my entree this time and it... read more

We stayed at the Seasons Lodge and got a voucher for breakfast, so we went. It was a Saturday morning, and the dining room had about 3-4 other tables. We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess who took as to a very clean dining room. We were seated next to the window which was nice. Our waitress was a... More

Our objective, The Hobnob offers great lunches, but is the most disorganized business in Nashville, and we give it a pass. Good fortune! Later my wife spies The Seasons Lodge Dining Room, and I execute a u turn to drive up the hill to the restaurant motel combination. We park at the front door and everything about the The Seasons... On Weekends there is a breakfast buffet for $9.95/ea including coffee/tea and juices. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, potatoes, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, juices. Homemade apple butter. They don't fill the trays with eggs, instead replenishing more often - a good thing. The pancakes are 4" size and fluffy - very good (I don't like steamer table waffles and... Very polite servers and food at a great price. The omlets at breakfast are huge - like the way they "used to be made all of the time"

We used to come here more often for dinner on Friday evenings when we were in town, but have started to feel that the food is just average and very overpriced. On a positive note, the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

To be fair, we were there in off season and one of only a few parties in the dining room. The rolls were excellent, but the rest of the food, not too good. The rib eye was overpriced at $23.00 and the ham steak blah tasting. Service was fair. We would not go there again.

The servers are fantastic and the food is out-of-this-world. They have daily specials, and the serving size is more than enough to make a skinny person fat.
