28th Wedding anniversary in Nashville, IN

We've been going to Nashville for years and every time we eat at the Pine Room tavern we get a very cool surprise. It is very quaint and has an old west saloon appearance, but very relaxing! The food is always outstanding and is the main reason we go there, but we always get a curve ball. One... read more

We loved the Pine Room. Loved is the key word. Walked in & took a look at their horrible revised menu & walked out. Sadly, Had the same reaction to the quality of food served at the revised Muddy Boots. Very disappointed!!!

Hadn't been here in awhile. The dinner menu has changed & is very limited. My husband and I both ordered shrimp with polenta grits, and it was tasteless. Way overpriced for the quality. Our young male waiter was undertrained, inattentive, and couldn't remember orders. Disappointed & not sure we'll return. The restaurant is in the midst of merging with Muddy... More

There is an extensive menu with a wide variety of dishes. A large beer selection. The service is great. Music nightly!

I met a friend here last week, we enjoyed the meal, service was decent, and the server was polite. Not real busy and not a large menu but the food was very good. They have live entertainment nightly. The gentleman who played had a good voice and was not so loud where we couldn't hear each other talk across the... More

We are locals to the BROWN COUNTY area...we have given THE PINE ROOM numerous tries..all hours of operation...the PINE ROOM supposedly wants to be a LOCALs favorite...wish that were true. Here are just 3 examples of our numerous experiences...on a Fri evening in the fall at 6:30 pm...out of burgers...at 4 pm on a recent visit...no Mac and cheese...because the... More

The food was good and atmosphere ok (not as quaint as other places in the area). The bluegrass band was great!

Every trip to Nashville, we make sure we eat here, sometimes more than once. They do not have an extensive menu but who cares they serve top notch gourmet food. No greasy country cooking here. The side salads we had with our dinner puts about 95% other restaurants to shame. I am talking about chain restaurants where I live near... More

Don't be turned off by the location. They always have several great craft beers on tap, including some from Indiana breweries. The burgers, steak fries and fish & chips are excellent! I've never had anything bad here.

I wish I could say we ate here on our latest trip to Nashville, but we couldn't get a seat! Granted it was a Saturday night, at about 8p.m. However, since they advertised that the live band wouldn't play until 9p.m., we thought we would be early enough to get in. The band was already playing when we got there,... More
