I was in town for the Gnaw Bone 50k and ended up having dinner at Big Woods two nights in a row. It's a great location in the middle of town, good apps, salads, pizza, and sandwiches. I'm a vegetarian and they had plenty of options for me.

Tucked away on a back street of Nashville, IN is a gem call Big Woods Brewing Co. It's a quaint little spot with a very good selection of microbrews AND excellent food and service. Our waitress truly highlighted our whole experience, she was funny and very knowledgeable of the products.
Good beer, great food and awesome service! I am not a beer enthusiast but I really enjoyed the blonde and my husband liked the busted knuckle.
You have to look hard to find it down an alley but once there the service is friendly and the food is great except the pizza.
My husband was so happy to visit the brewery shop upstairs to sample the beer & buy beer making supplies. Everyone was so helpful & nice! We had pizza & salads another night. Really good! This will be a regular stop on our visits.
So great to a have a microbrewery in Nashville! The beer is really good and it's such a fun place to hang out. They use local ingredients and meat for their menu items which we love. Add this to your must-go list in Brown County!

The only positive was the service, which was very good.
kids love the homemade root beer and I loved the adult beers the pizza was great to great place to go for the whole family.
We asked some of the locals where to eat. Big Woods was recommended to us. We had a pizza and one of the stout beers. They were awesome. The man who waited on us "Coach" was very nice.I will go back again.
I am NOT a die hard beer drinker, but I do enjoy a cold one every now and again. So when I went with some friends to this restaurant, I was a bit skeptical. However I decided to partake in having a beer with my meal. The waitress was extremely knowledgable as far as which beer I would like the...
