New Location

Seems our friendly Muddy Boots outgrew their old location. Now they're in a strip behind Mcdonald's, south of town. I miss the quirky grandma decor but the Pine Tavern is very nice. There's room for live music. Most importantly the food is outstanding. Best tenderloin anywhere.

This is a very cute place...a place much loved by many locals...except this local...and a number of others ...we will keep them annonymous. The service is usually pretty good but the food is often served Luke warm or near cold. The menu is limited. I have found many of the bakery goods dry and overbaked. Would like to see this... More

We were in Nashville for a short day trip from Bloomington and enjoyed lunch in this fun, quirky little cafe. The homemade soups were very tasty as were the sandwiches. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed looking around at all the unique furnishings in the place. I can't compare it to anything else in town, but we enjoyed... More

Breakfast was excellent. Food was fresh prepared. The cook time wait was rewarded with an excellent meal. The atmosphere is a small town local restaurant. Big round table with a group of local retired men having their morning coffee and catch-up time. The waiter treated us like we were neighbors stopping in for a meal. The coffee just kept coming.... There is always some local talent playing in the evening and you instantly are embraced by the community. The food is great and reasonably priced. There are no strangers here.

I came here alone while my husband slept in. My server was very friendly and prompt with coffee. I wasn't really a fan of the coffee. It was watered down and not very strong. I ordered the biscuit sandwich with eggs, cheese, and bacon. I ordered extra crispy bacon and was very happy to see that is what I got!... More

I went with my kids (7, 14) during our "changing of the leaves" trip. It was fairly crowded but we didn't wait long. My kids both ordered the mac n cheese. It turned out to be penne noodles drenched in alfredo sauce. Neither of them finished it and both had upset stomachs before we left the restaurant. I think the... More

You have to go to the north end of Nashville to find this unique place. The hot chocolate is wonderful. Our meals( Judy Judy) were good but not exceptional. There was entertainment ( folk singer with guitar plus bass) which was entertaining for a half hour or so. While it was before 7 p.m, , the staff began cleaning the... More

Muddy Boots is my favorite restaurant in Nashville! It is a quirky little place with lots of character and delicious food. I've sampled delicious Mac & cheese, muddy boots bean soup, Norb's grilled cheese, corn bread, molasses cookies, biscuits/gravy, coffee- it's ALL GOOD!

The atmosphere is cute and quaint, but crowded. The lunch menu changes up each month and we were disappointed that certain items we had before were not on the menu. Also the menu was incorrect in the description of one of their items so all of our tickets had to be voided and redone. They were very nice about this... More
