My wife and I stopped at the Muddy Boots Cafe for breakfast before leaving Nashville to head back to Illinois. We loved the atmosphere. It was like walking into an old general store, or restaurant with the wood floors and all kinds of things hanging on the walls. Out waitress was very nice and took great care of us. My... More

Tried this place on a friend of mine's word. Cute little place, quirky. Sat outside to enjoy the weather and people watching. Service was good and quick. Had the Judi Judi Judi, half a sandwich and a soup. Pulled pork was ok, kinda missing something but wasn't bad. Creamy potato soup was good. Waitress came and gave us our food... More

While the decor inside & out was interested & quaint, the absolute biggest turnoff was at the end of our mediocre meal. While paying at the counter, we observed what appeared to be a herd of cockroaches on the wall behind the counter. One place we will not be visiting again.

My wife and I used to frequent this place. Used to love the beans and cornbread and would come after a delicious hot bowl of soup nearly every rainy day. Lately the food and service has gone down hill. Today I waited over twenty minutes for a cup of coffee that he already been made. Last week when we came... More

Our food was really good and seemed fresh, not processed! We love the atmosphere and the food. Service could have been better though. My husband had to go ask for refills while the waitresses stood up at the register talking. Overall we really enjoyed this place and tried to go back but they were closed.

We went on a Sunday for a late lunch. Not crowded at all. The food was great! My husband and I each ended up getting a half a sandwich and a bowl of soup. BTW, the tomato bisque was fabulous! The service started out fine, but after we had eaten we decided we wanted dessert. Our waitress was sitting at... More

We weren't familiar with Muddy Boots until I found it on Trip Advisor when looking for a place to eat while in Nashville. We opted for Sunday breakfast and were very pleased. The decor is quirky and funky (if you've ever eaten at the now-closed Lynn's Paradise Cafe in Louisville, KY, you'll like this place). And the food was good... More

We went for a late lunch and were impressed. It is an eclectic type place (which I love) and I found several things on the menu that sounded good. I settled on the chicken and artichoke wrap and was very happy with the choice. The service was good, the food was great, and the atmosphere was fun. However, like lots... More

The cafe was recommended by a local merchant. Food was good, not great. Service mediocre - expected better because the place was only about 1/3 full when I went on a Sunday for lunch. Coffee smelled very good but I didn't try it. Not sure I would go again.

We found this quaint place for breakfast. It has great coffee and really good food. The service was a bit slow due to all the visitors coming in for coffee. It does seem popular with the locals.
