Have been coming to Nashville for 6 years on New Years and Spring Break. Jan 2 is our anniversary and an " our time" occasion. The Spring Break is for the the kids. The experience has always been great and we keep coming back. But.... The one thing I have noticed every time is the city folds up at 5... More

We planned to eat dinner in the dining room one nite of our stay. We ordered the potato skins as an appetizer. They were good but very very big. Hugh! So much potato that we weren't even hungry after that. So they missed out on a larger food and drink ticket by serving such a big appetizer.

Great restaurant. My table enjoyed the ribeye and snow crab legs. Everything was wonderful. Dress nice if you go.

This was probably one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. The rolls were rock hard, the service was very poor (rarely saw waitress despite the place not being very busy), and the prices were high. I had a margarita from the bar, which was very watery and bland, and I'm not real picky on my margaritas!... More

Was expecting more of a colonial pub feel based on the ads in the local flyers and a much friendlier atmosphere. Not impressed with the food for the prices given them. Avg American bistro selections with nothing standing out. Service was poor but the server livened up when she brought the check. Guess she was excited about being done. The... More

As of this writing, Saturday, 30 March, 2013, the Ordinary has closed and the windows are papered up. According to the Tourist Bureau on the opposite corner, the original owner has sold the place to someone else and it is slated to reopen under the name Out of the Ordinary sometime in May, 2013. Word among the locals is that... More

The Ordinary has been in Nashville forever. We live about 20 minutes away so we visit Nashville at least a couple of times a year. We have gone to the Ordinary but I have never been very impressed with the food. It is fine, just nothing to write home about. A little pricey. The thing about Nashville is that there... More

I visited the ordinary on Oct.. 21 2012, they were average busy, service was very slow. I ordered the turkey dinner received a pile of turkey on a plate with a bit of brown gravey, it was not very good, let alone for $15.95. I was very disappointed and wont be back.
