This place serves classic drive-in food with carhops. Always popular when I'm driving by. Got the BBQ pork sandwich and onion rings the other day, and both were nothing exceptional but tasty. Will be back! No good reason to hit up most of the many fast food places in Muncie when you have a classic local drive-in.

We used to LOVE to get Burkie's tenderloins when we were in Muncie. I don't know what has happened, but our experience today will likely be the last. The tenderloins are now nothing more than a fried pork fritter -- the meat is so thin that the breading is about 2-3x thicker than the sliver of meat. We had experienced... More

Old fashion tenderloins. Taste great and filsl you up. Would go back again as soon as it warms up. Be prepared to eat in your car.

Drive up and park. roll down the window. order through the low-fi speaker system. the waitress comes and hangs a tray thingy on your window. Not many of these places left. This is not a recreation - Burkies has been there forever. The food is decent. The daily special is always a good value. I'm not a breaded tenderloin guy... More

This place actually has Car Hops! The fish sandwiches are really excellent, as is the pie. Very reasonably priced, too. I highly recommend this restaurant for any casual occasion -- fun with the family, after a movie, whenever.

It's a run-down drive in with food that reminds you of a high school cafeteria. However, my friends and I go here occasionally for a large fry and cheeseburger or pork sandwich. It's okay at best.

This is the only place in Muncie you can get flavored Cokes! They also have great tenderloin sandwiches!

I have always loved going to Burkie's...especially in the summer for root beer floats. All of their food is good and fast. It is nice to still have a "vintage" drive in around Muncie.
