My husband and i went there. We both thought it was way overpriced. Our table was tiny and placed in a bad spot. The waitress had to squeeze behind me to get drinks. We ordered pork chops. They were very thick smelled good but completely raw. Its dark in there so my husband didn't see it until he put it... More

Yes, I know its a bar. There was nothing special about it at all. The food was not great, a cheeseburger from Burger King is far better. The cheese sticks were still frozen how hard is it to fry some cheese sticks? Skip the food and stick with the drinks.

We made our first visit to Riverside last week with friends who live in Monticello and recommended it. We started by sharing some appetizers - sautéed portabella mushrooms and fried banana peppers. Two people ordered the special - huge stuffed peppers. I had a pork chop (loved that applesauce was offered as one of the sides) and DH had a... More

Filet and scallops special the steak was tender but somehow the bacon was still raw. The scallops were big, but the were lost in a sea of melted butter. And I tried the butterfly smelt. Nicely fried, but an acquired taste.

My DH and I have dined here several times and must say that their steaks are every bit as good as most places 3 times as expensive and up-scale! One time we had their pork chops and they were every bit as good as their steaks! Will go there again and again. It was good to read other reviews to... More

We really like this restaurant, but they don't allow kids and that keeps us from going there. Good menu, good service

It's a bar that is a resturant and vice versa. You can eat at the bar, away from the bar or on the river. The food is very good and plenty of it. The service is very good. If you are in the area you will not be disappointed. BUT remember it is also a bar.

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't worth what I paid for it. It was the same thing that every other restaurant is offering just 5 to 10 dollars more. The staff was nice but too many drunks there for us. I'll try a different restaurant next time.

Always; good food, reasonably priced, good service and a great location right along the river, what more could you ask! Often they will special entertainment and during the summer they offer outdoor seating. This is one our favorite local restaurant (almost 15 yrs.) where we recommend and take friends.
