Friday Night at Hana Yori

The hostess was gracious, but she made it clear that reservations are needed. She made us wait ten minutes, but did seat us. The food was very good; the wine was mediocre, so stick with tea. The onions and rice were under cooked by the at the table cook, so make sure he cooks them thoroughly... read more

We have been coming here for over 10 years. It is always consistent and good. Recently, we tried a new tepanyaki restaurant that opened in South Bend. I had read a review of it that says Hana Yori had competition. Well, I would say that Hana Yori has nothing to worry about. The food was adequate but not outstanding. And... More

Well, I love this place like almost everyone does. I will tell you that I haven't been going here a lot at all. The new competition on the south side is awesome. I'm not going to get into all of that unless you want to check out my previous post so on to this place. The new update is that... More

This place has the best egg yolk sauce!! I've never had it before & a friend highly recommended it. I was not disappointed. It is an unassuming restruarant, sign is hard to see, does need updating, but the food is well worth it. Highly recommend it

It had been a few years since we had been to Hana Yori. The presentation was really great and the food was pretty good too. I agree that it could use a little refurbishing. I didn't think things looked dirty, maybe just on the older side. We had a good time though and enjoyed the show and the food.

My bff and I go whenever we have the money and need a "girls night". The food is always outstanding (try the spicy tuna roll and the egg yolk stuff for the shrimp)!! But the carpets and walls always look grungy to me.

I have been to Hani Yori so many time over the last 15 years I could not count them. I have NEVER been disappointed until now. We went for their lunch instead of dinner with our daughter who is only 2 so she could enjoy the show. They sat the three of us at a table an then sat four... More

We always enjoyed coming to this restaurant but it needs a facelift inside. In February, my family had a seat that I could see into the kitchen area and it did not look clean. Water and food on the floor. Last summer we went there and water was coming from the dishwasher through the wall into the restaurant area and... More

Amazing food, outstanding service. However, you get the same thing for 1/2 the price if not more for lunch. There is no way I would pay $20 for the food and show, when I can take an hour during the day before 3p to get it for half the price. The egg sauce is the best, but not everyone can... More
