I love going to Hana Yori because it's like having dinner and a show! I do recommend calling ahead for reservations. They seat you at tables for eight people, so if you have a small group you may end up sitting with other people, but it usually turns out great and you get to know new people over dinner. The... Grill chef's performance is really good, the portion of food are really big, a meal include salad, rice, egg yolk sauces, vegetables, meats... Really tasty when you ask for more yolk sauces.

This place is all about family. Not really meant for going by yourself even though I have. The table I think has seats for 8 normally people go as a couple or group and they always fill in. The food is good. The soup is simplistic but good and the salad is just as simple. You always receive those. With... More

Visited here with friends, what a great experience. Great food cooked in front of you with a floor show show from your chef. The food was outstanding as was the Chef's entertainment. Haven't laughed so much in ages. If your in the area it's a must.

The staff do a great meal and show. We have been going there for many years. They do need to spend some money and clean the place up its getting quite nasty!

A pleasant surprise in this college town. Went there as part of my birthday celebration with the family. The food was good, the waitstaff quite attentive. I would go again.

Excellent food. Good value. Fantastic, attentive service. We've gone to this location for the past 25 years and never been disappointed. Been to other Japanese restaurants when we traveled until we realized we were always disappointed when we compared to Hana's in MIshawaka.

My first visit to this type of restaurant, an american-japanese style of cuisine where you are seated around the grill and the preparation of the food is done for show, occurred in 2005 in Canada. Since then I have been to several of these types of restaurants and Hana Yori is always our first choice for teppan steakhouses. Founded in... More

We go to Hana Yori for special occasions. It's pricey but well worth the experience. The food is really delicious and if you enjoy this type of food you will not be disappointed. We have been lucky enough to have a chef that is also very personable, which makes the dinner experience all the more fun.
