Description: Established in 2010 Corndance Tavern presents classic tastes of the Midwest with metropolitan sophistication. Our highly trained staff strive to provide a truly memorable dining experience; professional service, fresh local food presented in a dynamic fashion, and the perfect beverage make your Corndance experience one to remember! Our steaks are dry aged and cut in-house, using midwestern beef fed on grain and grass with no steroids or hormones. We buy produce from local farms, including year-round indoor farming operations in southern Michigan. Our seafood comes straight from the Great Lakes, and what we cannot get locally, we get flown in from around the United States every day. Our wine list is composed of new-world wines from the Americas. You will not find microwaves and frozen food at Corndance--just fresh, local food, inspired by the seasons.

I would consider this an upscale restaurant based on the prices of the meals and the conservative portions. The food and service were both quite good, but this is the kind of restaurant reserved for special occasions, I strongly recommend calling ahead for a reservation. I have driven by this place a number of times and the parking lot is... More

In town for a Notre Dame football game and stayed at the Hyatt in Mishawaka. One half mile down the street is this lovely gem. Our waitress Bridget explained to us that this is a chef owned restaurant, and he raises the bison on his farm. We got there early and got seated right away, when we were leaving, they... More

Great food including bison bites with hoisin sauce and flatbreadsfor appetizers. We had the scallops and grilled pork chops for entrees. Good selection of scotches and cocktails. Convivial atmosphere after the Notre Dame game. And they take reservations.

I would like to share my experience visiting Corndance Tavern on November 14, 2014. My husband and I had dinner reservations at 8:30p.m. that evening. We were excited, as this was our first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter (Igor) suggested we try the Bison Bites as an appetizer as that seemed to be one of their signature dishes they... More

I have to say we have eaten here ALOT! The food is always wonderful and the wait staff are top notch. That being said, yesterday I had the Tiramisu. It was, bad! The chef is usually wonderful but I think he missed the mark here. The Tiramisu looked more like a jelly roll, had NO coffee taste, was NOT made... More

My husband and I went here for date night. Over and above my expectations. I had chosen a dinner from the menu until the waiter came and informed us of the many specials. I wanted to try several. The farm to table concept is awesome and the dinners we had were exceptional. Service was great from the time we walked... More

New to the area, we planned a business meal at Corndance. The atmosphere was perfect and everyone enjoyed there meal very much. I had the grilled salmon, which was amazing. Others enjoyed their steaks very much. The fact that they were partnered with Evil Czech and featured their beer made it even better. I do recommend the banana nepolean for... More

I have eaten here several times. The food is excellent, as is the service. And I love the farm-to-table concept. But you will pay for the "love."

My husband and I rarely get out these days without the kids, but this night we managed to have a date. We heard many good things about Corn Dance and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Every part of the meal was delicious and never did we feel rushed. Our favorite was the dessert, "coffee and... More

My wife and I shared a wonderful calamari appetizer coupled withan Asian slaw with just the right amount of bite. We also shared an entree of chicken that was presented on a sword, with half a waffle, spaghetti squash, and a different sweet slaw. The chicken was a bit too well done for our taste, though it was pleasant. Our server,... More
