Description: Established in 2010 Corndance Tavern presents classic tastes of the Midwest with metropolitan sophistication. Our highly trained staff strive to provide a truly memorable dining experience; professional service, fresh local food presented in a dynamic fashion, and the perfect beverage make your Corndance experience one to remember! Our steaks are dry aged and cut in-house, using midwestern beef fed on grain and grass with no steroids or hormones. We buy produce from local farms, including year-round indoor farming operations in southern Michigan. Our seafood comes straight from the Great Lakes, and what we cannot get locally, we get flown in from around the United States every day. Our wine list is composed of new-world wines from the Americas. You will not find microwaves and frozen food at Corndance--just fresh, local food, inspired by the seasons.

I visited Corndance while on business in Indiana. Great atmosphere, awesome music in the background (not too loud) and fabulous menu and wine list. But due to my allergy to garlic, the chef said he could only do a steak, baked potato and steamed broccoli? Really? It told me that nothing was prepared fresh. So disappointed!!!!! Seriously, Everything had garlic... More

This has been one of several trips we've made to Cordance. It is one of the Best restaurants in Mishawaka, Indiana. Most of the food served is local sourced and very fresh. Tonight we had the Brazilian Bison Ribeye, cooked medium rare. It was very lean but still very tender. My wife had the Truffeled Chicken Carbonara, which she loved.... More

It's unfortunate that Corndance is only open for dinners but it's well worth the trip! Make a reservation, though, and be prepared for a unique menu prepared from local foods with creativity. Everything is made fresh and flavors are combined in interesting ways. The portions are more than ample! Consider splitting sides, for example. And save room for dessert!

Michael was our server and he danced us through the evening with grace, attentiveness, and impeccable menu suggestions. We began this wonderful evening with the Macaroni and Cheese Flatbread Pizza and Bison Bites. Out of this world flavors and the freshness of the ingredients cannot be matched. They raise their own bison and have gardens full of fresh ingredients. I... More

On a business trip and decided to stop by because of the good reviews. Had a great experience- the waitress was very knowledgable about the menu and the specials, and the food was cooked perfectly and tasted great! Would definitely go back!

I would consider this an upscale restaurant based on the prices of the meals and the conservative portions. The food and service were both quite good, but this is the kind of restaurant reserved for special occasions, I strongly recommend calling ahead for a reservation. I have driven by this place a number of times and the parking lot is... More

In town for a Notre Dame football game and stayed at the Hyatt in Mishawaka. One half mile down the street is this lovely gem. Our waitress Bridget explained to us that this is a chef owned restaurant, and he raises the bison on his farm. We got there early and got seated right away, when we were leaving, they... More

Great food including bison bites with hoisin sauce and flatbreadsfor appetizers. We had the scallops and grilled pork chops for entrees. Good selection of scotches and cocktails. Convivial atmosphere after the Notre Dame game. And they take reservations.

I would like to share my experience visiting Corndance Tavern on November 14, 2014. My husband and I had dinner reservations at 8:30p.m. that evening. We were excited, as this was our first visit to this restaurant. Our waiter (Igor) suggested we try the Bison Bites as an appetizer as that seemed to be one of their signature dishes they... More

I have to say we have eaten here ALOT! The food is always wonderful and the wait staff are top notch. That being said, yesterday I had the Tiramisu. It was, bad! The chef is usually wonderful but I think he missed the mark here. The Tiramisu looked more like a jelly roll, had NO coffee taste, was NOT made... More
