When ever I go back to my home town of Michigan City I always have to have an Albano's pizza. The whole family loves to go together not only for the good food but the atmosphere is nice also. They also have good songs on the juke box :) You won't be sorry if you take the family here. Nothing... More

We were visiting Washington Marina and decided to order pizza to go. We checked Trip Advisor and Albano's had great ratings so we decided to try them. We were not disappointed!!! The sauce is obviously made from recipe and the crust has a great flavor. The toppings were generous and the cheese! The cheese streeetttcches as you pull the slice... More

Not fancy but tasty and not expensive! Small pizza is plenty for two people (only small and large sizes available)Lasagna is also good and can be split for two people. Salads are not anything special. Location on Franklin street has been there for years (decor is dated) Booths have wood seats and are not very comfortable. Waitresses are usually friendly... More

Real, traditional pizza in a real, traditional pizza restaurant. This has become our family rendezvous spot since the first time we came a few years ago. We're planning another trip next month, and my brother has already decreed that it's Albano's for supper again! You're not going to find exotic toppings, sauces or crusts, but you're going to get some... More

We were in the mood for pizza & decided to try Albano's. We ordered a large pizza & in the end there only ended up being one piece left! Delicious & very unique tasting sauce! We will be back!

We stopped in for a pizza on our way to blue chip casino. Which is less than a mile away. Pizza was great. Will stop in if ever back in Michigan City!

Albano's is an original home town pizza joint! It's been here since I can remember. It's hard to choose what to order since they have the very best Italian Beef sandwiches! Their tacos are not authentic style, but are awesome!! The PIZZA...well...now they have their own special flavor of pizza around. Talk about cheese! No need to add extra cheese!... More

My wife and I have been going to Albano's for pizza and pasta for years. We would shop at Lighthouse mall then have dinner at Albano's. Sometimes we see a play at the Footlight Players theater across the street and then cross over to Albano's. The issue we have with Albano's is the sauce, Sometimes it is too spicy for... More

This is my husbands favorite pizza place from his childhood. After traveling 1000 miles back here for a visit he just had to have Albanos. The cheese is my favorite part is obviously quality cheese! If you want good pizza go here!!

Visited this place for a bit of nostalgic pizza. The dining room looks exactly as it did in the late 1970s. The pizza quality is better than the big 3 US pizza chains. We had friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere.
