I live in Lafayette and I've been to Hour Time on several special occasions. I have always enjoyed the food here. Tonight we were celebrating our anniversary. I had the Citrus Lime Salmon (or something like that). It was perfectly cooked, lightly crisp and flavorful on the outside and flaky, but not dry, on the inside. Presented with beautifully arranged... More

I visited the HourTime Restaurant for my complimentary breakfast from the attached Best Western Hotel. The food was of good quality and very tasteful. But, the coffee was an inferior, low-grade, bitter coffee. With all of the nice roasts out there today, it is very disappointing when great food is hampered by a cheap beverage.

I had lunch with a friend and had the lobster bisque. it was at top of the list of lobster bisques I have ever had. Then I had dinner at a wedding reception prepared by the restaurant and the salmon was juicy and tender with an excellent sauce. Service both times was excellent.

We went here for breakfast, horrible decision! The hostess was going to seat us in the upper level, and asks the waitress upstairs if she was ready for guests, where she rudely yelled loudly NO! The table was dirty, wiped it clean with our napkins. Two out of 4 water glasses had dried, crusted green and black food sediment stuck... More

We , five adults and three children, had dinner here. The hostess seated us upstairs and away from the majority of diners. This was appropriate as she didn't know how the children would behave. As it happened, they were well behaved. The service was prompt with suggestions from the menu. The food was delicious and served all at the same... More

A Lafayette staple that is past its prime... Food was mediocre and wine list was not as good as advertised. Service was marginal...tables very spread out with minimal servers.

Hour Time has been a Lafayette landmark for decades. Its four-sided clock face in a Tudor tower is visible from I-65 nearby. It has enjoyed a reputation as one of the up-scale dining options in the area, but tonight, Valentines day, was a disappointment. We arrived for our 6:30 reservation and were kept waiting for 10 minutes before being seated;... More

Went for a late lunch, and was seated immediately. Attentive waitress and good food. I got half a sandwich and clam chowder. The chicken salad sandwich was really good.

My wife and I starting going to HourTime years ago. It was fantastic. Menu was big. Now almost everything I used to order is gone. Now they have "seasoned" fries instead of steak fries. Steak fries are my preference.. Prices are up. I still love the oysters rockefeller. The best.
