What a let down . After my family decided to try a different view in dining we decide to go to the riverfront for supper. Kingfish which we gadding ate there in years wad our decision , I ordered the white fish platter , food was bland in taste , warm almost cool, to the touch ,fries same way, not... More

We had dinner on the patio. They have drink specials each night and the glasses of wine were half priced on the night that we dined. The food was pretty good, the service was excellent. Since we were walking and there were 2 of us, we wanted to order a bottle of wine but could only get the special by... More

The people who have reviewed this place successful obviously do not eat seafood. I will start with the only good, then all of the bad. The boom boom shrimp was well priced and the sauce was flavorful. This saved this place from being a one star. Almost everything was terribly bland. Everything lacked serious flavor. Their batter made the shrimp... More

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after visiting Falls of the Ohio State Park. The restaurant sits on the Ohio River overlooking downtown Louisville, KY. There is an outdoor patio and the restaurant inside is tiered so that everyone has a great view. Our waitress was prompt, pleasant and helpful with our order. We had a fish platter... More

Eat outdoors on the river! Food great!! Entertainment calendar online! Large indoor bar. Lots on seating in restaurant. Not a lot of outdoor seating. But, indoors can also see the river.

We always stop at King Fish as we travel through Louisville. Lisa is our favorite server, the hush puppies are divine, the family atmosphere is inviting and the Ohio River view is unsurpassed. The coconut shrimp is a favorite.

These guys have a great Happy Hour and a lot of drink specials. I sat out on the patio and enjoyed the view of downtown Louisville, KY and the Ohio river. That was special. I ordered the "Make your own combo" which was fried seafood. How can you go wrong with fried seafood? :) The hush puppies here are huge!... More

about this place after eating there last night. My buddies and I had dinner here and although one guy thought it was great, I can't say the same. We all had eaten here several years ago and I was not impressed then and last night did not change my opinion of this place. For starters I had the clam chowder... More

Decided to try a local riverfront seafood restaurant based on many of the TA reviews... What a surprise... I had the broiled Tuna steak, scallops and crab cakes... The Tuna steak was overcooked and dry, the only authentic thing about the "Crab Cakes" was the shell. They were 98% breadcrumbs and 2% seasoning/red pepper flakes and maybe crab. The only... More

I have been a long time fan of KingFish before they opened a location in Jeff. Most of the time I will always get the fish sandwich or rolled oysters when I come back to the area for a visit, both are reasonably priced and tasty. Their tartar sauce is the best pre packaged tartar sauce I have ever had, love it.
