Great experience

The restaurant was very quiet and we ended up the only people at our table. The chef did a great job, doing all the standard fun gags. Food was very tasty and plentiful.

Lunch is the best time to visit when prices are decent. Dinner is overpriced in my opinion. Sushi has always been great and average $.

Let me start by saying my wife and I have been to several Japanese Steakhouses in California, Oregon, Wisconsin and Jamaica. All of them have been great experiences, some not as good as others, but we left each one feeling we got what we paid for. We traveled from California to Indiana for the 4th of July week to spend... Arrived just in time for the last grill of the night, and our grill master was very pleasant and thorough, with our food cooked to perfection. Also, my husband and I ordered the Seafood and Combination Supremes, and apparently these meals include a complimentary Plum Wine at this particular restaurant. We order the same meal at any Hibachi we go... More

The waitress is also the bartender. Taking care of every table, every drink. She hasn't read th menu, ignorant regarding the gluten free statement on there menu & annoyed that we wanted to make sure their chef knew (cross-contamination will make her puke for hours.) They need to train her more. Didn't know how to make a Bloody Mary...I hope... More

If given the opportunity to eat here or somewhere else my kids will always pick Kobe. This is their place for birthday dinners. The service is great and the people are very friendly. The food is amazing and not too expensive.

If you like Japanese food tepanyaki style where the chef cooks at the table, this will be the best choice in the area. The chef was very entertaining and the food was extremely delicious. Also the portions are big for the price you pay. My first choice when I visit Louisville, KY

I like going to a Kobe for the food. The show is OK but the food is really good. Had the sushi appetizer which was nice and well priced. The food was done nicely. Green tea was excellent.

First of all, I ate here late on a Sunday night at the sushi bar, so I can't speak to the teppanyaki experience or how they do at peak times. BUT, this is a very good small sushi spot. Their fish was excellent, and they had a high quality (and reasonably priced) selection of fish. Maguro tuna, albacore, super-white, salmon,... More
