While visiting indy we decided to come here after reading the reviews we thought it would be amazing. How wrong were we here are our reasons for a bad review. 1. bad attitudes of the employees . As soon as we arrive they were not friendly and did not seem to care that we were new to their restaurant and... More

I have eaten here probably close to 12 times. In the beginning this place was spot on delicious and the all you could eat sides were great. The last three times we have been, the food was just really bad. The bread pudding tasted like they took big hunks of bread and just poured warm sweetened milk on it. I... More

We had yet another amazing meal at Papa Roux. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. Dine in and get free unlimited sides and iced tea. Really you can't go wrong, there are always daily specials but I am partial to the Pork Po Boy!

Based upon Trip Advisor's reviews, we sought out Papa Roux's for lunch, and it was a very different meal. We had the catfish and oyster po' boys, and they were very good, as was the cornbread and the cherry soda. The sides of cajun chili and etoufee were nothing special. The atmosphere was lively, and the dining area was quite... More

Yeahhhhhh this place was great. Bummer I don't live in Indi to eat here more often. I'm not even a huge cajun food lover and this place was wonderful. We ordered the stews, which come with rice but could have used meat (you have the option to add, we just didn't.) I would order a sandwich next time... because there... More

Drove from Greenwood to finally check out Papa's. Unfortunately we got there right before close and didn't get to sit down and enjoy the unlimited free sides. I got a fried catfish Po' boy on crispy bread (do the crispy bread!). I got the etouphe as my free side on the carry out order and a free water to go.... More

I love Cajun food and have had my share of it via homemade dishes and various restaurants in several states. However Papa Roux is literally the most unorthodox Cajun restaurant I've ever encountered. It is literally the prime example of a hole-in-the-wall. It is not fancy by any means but where it lacks in a "clean" atmosphere, it makes up... More

Cheap eats on the east side of Indy. You get very large po-boys with a zingy sauce and unlimited sides if you dine-in. In the several times I have been there, they have been packed with people; so, prepare to get cozy. Their homemade sodas are also worth a try. We like to eat here before heading over to a... More

Honestly I love Papa Roux, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is so relaxed that I can bring my kid even when she's being a brat. It's loud, and fun and perks her up every time. Kids eat free after 4 or 5 and adults entrees are usually under $10 and that includes tea and all the unlimited side you... More
