Very good Food!

The atmosphere was kind of rough looking and we were not optimistic when we cam in, but the menu was interesting and after we started eating we enjoyed the food immensely. The Crawfish Etouffee was great and my wife loved her Catfish Po'Boy. Ill probably try the Gator or Oyster Po'Boy next time.

I've been to LA for Po-Boys and this is a great meal. It is totally unexpected what you get, and it is not really outrageous in price, show your gun permit for a nice discount! When I'm in town I will be back!!!

If you like cajun and especially po-boy sandwiches, you have to try this place. The fried oyster po-boy I had was the best I have ever had. I have had them in New Orleans, Mobile and all along the gulf coast and this was by far the best tasting sandwich of them all. Not only that, but as you eat... More

Our son-in-law suggested this restaurant and told us not to expect much until the food arrived, he was almost right. From the outside you stop and think about going in. Once inside you look around and wonder if there's enough room to get to a table. That's where the bad stuff ends. The staff was GREAT, friendly, helpful and very... More

Sure, it's not in the absolute nicest part of town, but don't let the plain brick exterior and the permanent marker-graffiti on the interior fool you. The po-boys are fantastic! I've gotten the catfish twice, on soft bread with applesauce and french bread as sides and I will go again a third and fourth time, etc. I highly recommend Papa... More

We went in 7 minutes before 4 pm - there was not another guest in the place and they wouldn't budge on leting us apply the kids-eat-free after 4pm program. I have never been impressed with the service here but it seems extreme to turn away a customer over 7 minutes. Note to Art: Is that really your policy really... More

I was at a conference and needed somewhere to go for lunch and this was right across the street. I noticed the high marks and figured I would give it a shot. For me this is the type of restaurant I love. The food is delicious is has a unique atmosphere with cards you put up to sample from the... More

Excellent!!! I hate writing good reviews for small, hole in the wall restaurants because it tends to attract more people but this place is awesome. The food is great and the staff is very helpful. The price is above average but well worth the money spent.

This place is Amazing. The owners are great people. The staff is friendly and the food is out of this world. My favorite is the Alligator Poor Boy. The unlimited sides are spicy but delicious. I like they're small batch sodas. The garlic stew is spicy but good. If you leave this place hungry its your own fault.

If you are ever there when they have the "hot mess" special, you have to get it. Hands down the best I've had there. If you don't like spice, stay away from the side orders. My only wish is that they weren't on the other side of the city from where I live and work.
