Confusing menu, I have been there twice and still don't know what I ate. Anything but fancy, they serve good food on paper wrappers. Best to do for take out when you want "something very different" and not expensive.

This place will satisfy you for the whole day!!! The po-boys are huge and then the unlimited sides, you might as well roll yourself out to your car. I really like the roast chicken po-boy. The sides are all amazing also. I really wish there was a papa roux on the northwest side..hint hint!! This is a small tight spaced... More

This is a great local joint that has the best po-boys and jambalaya in town. They have a few different options available including pulled pork, beef, chicken, sausage, hot dogs, and catfish. You can get it either a half, whole, or naked on a bed of rice. All the sides are free and unlimited if you eat in, you can... More

Driving through Indianapolis on our way from columbus to St. Louis . Looked a a few apps for a good, quick, inexpensive place to stop for supper and wait out the traffic. All the good reviews were right - this place was awesome. Yeah, it's a hole in the wall, but the po boys with free sides ( all you... More

Luckily I can call this place one of my hometown hangouts. I'm great friends with the owners and it's not surprising if I'm in there once a week to eat either by myself, with my family or introducing new friends to the place. It's actually pretty simple. Grab yourself a poboy sandwich (your choice of meat, vouxdoux sauce, cole slaw... More

My favorite is the pork, but you can't go wrong. Everyone in my family enjoys a different Po Boy. Amazing sides and generous portions. The most friendly an down to earth staff and owners!!!!

The first time we went we did not know what to expect. Unfortunately, the employees at the time weren't much help. Once we made our selections, we found out there were unlimited refills on the sides, so I ordered more than I needed to. Food was good, but be ready for the Cajun spice!

My wife and I tried this place for lunch after reading the reviews and were pleased. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside, but is very interesting on the inside. There was writing all over the walls that reminded me of Gino's East in Chicago. We ordered at the counter and then sat at one of the... More

Great food, great Po' Boys! Even vegetarians can be happy! Wonderful unlimited sides brought to the table, as often & as many as you'd like! All vegetarian! Unlimited Iced Tea! Absolutely love this place, but you'll want to come hungry or prepare to go home w/ a to-go box. Or, share sandwiches & fill up on sides & desert...

Eating at Papa Roux is a blast. Something you have to experience. While this place is small that is part of the fun. When we were there the first time, placed our order then had to wait a bit for a table. (not a big deal) We were at a table for 4. Another couple needed a place to sit... More
