We really loved our last visit here. The Tripel de Ripple (their house brewed Belgium Tripel) was phenomenal. We started with a charcuterie plate which was large enough to be an appetizer for three. All three of us ordered the two pound mussel crock. I ordered the Povencal, which had massive amounts of bacon and Bleu Cheese interspersed with the... More

I have eaten at Brugge before and decided to take my oldest daughter there since she had a desire to try it. There were no seats in the dining room so we decided to go upstairs and sit in the bar area. As before, I had no problem with the service and was waited on in a timely manner. I... More

My favorite restaurant in Indy. Not fancy, very informal and the mussels are the best i ever had, at par to any restaurant in Brussels.

The atmosphere is fun. Whether inside or out there is a warm and cozy feeling. I LOVE the tables with the cutouts for the fritte cones. The art fits the rest of the decor and I think a real plus. The restroom ( women's) always looks dingy. I think a brighter light would make it look cleaner. Order the frites... More

What a great experience! Took my wife and daughters out for dinner. Ordered beers to start: Pooka (great sour fruit beer), Trippel the Ripple (always excellent!), and two of their beers from their downtown "branch" Outliers- Pilsner, and Brown. Then came our food: Hanger steak & frites, Mussels Provencal, Chicken Crepe & Cod Crepe all with Frites: some of the... More

If you are looking for a taste of Belgium in the midwest- this is it. I was in Indy for business and a friend recommended Brugge Brasserie. We visited on a weeknight and the place was still packed (it's small) so we sat outside which was nice. Menu has a lot of options, many are of the calorie laden variety-... More

I've had the opportunity to live in Belgium in recent years, so I've had my fair share of Belgian beer and food. I had a flight of their craft beers on tap, including their Lunch Box #2, White, Pooka, Tripel de Ripple, and stout. My favorites were the Pooka and the Tripel de Ripple. The Pooka was a delicious fruity... More

This is a great spot for mussels! The servings are huge and the appetizers are wonderful, great cheese plate! The also got crepes which we didn't try, as we were loaded with more mussels than we could eat. It's extremely loud inside, so go early, or with a crowd so the noise doesn't drive you out!

We have patronized Brugge for years and we are not ones to complain too loudly; however, our last trip may well be our last. The service was abysmal. Our server disappeared after serving us our meal. Refills of admittedly except Belgian beer were out of the question and I had to search for our server to get our check. He... More

Love this place for its Mussels and craft beers. A good variety of broths that your mussels of which you can choose to have your mussels served. Also the Frites, or french fries, which come with a choice of dipping sauces. Had dinner here with friends and family. Very active. No reservations but you can call ahead to have your... More
