Brewery with a taste of Belgium

A brewery serving their interpretations of Belgian beers with lots of Belgian style foods, such as mussels. The fries were a little disappointing in that they weren't cut wide like most Belgian fries, but were tasty. The best thing was all of the in-house made sauces made to accompany the fries... read more

Restaurant has improved since we last visited last year. Menu is newly printed and does not look anymore as taken out of a garbage can. Mussels were of better quality and plump. Fries were not piping hot and a lot of "residues ". Better with plain salt than their standard offering. Beers on tap were good but only a limited... More

Mussels Provincial were phenomenal and included decent frites. My wife's Waterzooi was even better. With a craft draft, came to $47 and worth every penny. Charming server made it perfect.

This is essentially a fancy bar and grill in a nice neighborhood. Wife and I both had the frites with different sauces and they were fine. Not superb, but OK. I had the scrambled egg and veggie crepe--it was good. She had the grilled mushroom/veggie open faced sandwich--OK, not that great. Nice selection of local beers, but not a full... More

I generally like this place. Simple menu and good beer. We stopped for dinner last night on our way out of town and I ordered by usual, Moules Frites Belgian Style. To my disappointment the beautiful subtle flavors of the Belgian style of preparing mussels was overpowered by the addition of cayenne pepper. Too often these days I think that... More

This is such a cool place! It's small, but very cozy. The service was great. I had the mussels and frites. DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is great, as well.

We started with a healthy spinach salad -- really! -- then chased it with frites and dips and a few of Brugge's wonderful beers. We had a friendly and helpful server, and spent a pleasant afternoon at Brugge.

My girlfriend and I had lunch today. We were impressed by the different menu. They brew their own beers and we each ordered a different flight which consisted of three different beers about 3ozs each. From those we each found a different favorite and ordered a pint of that one. Shannon our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our sandwiches... More

I love this restaurant. I have never had a bad meal here. The large frites with all the sauces is a go-to when I'm there with a group. The mussels are delicious but not overly-rich. The open-faced mushroom sandwich is delicious - full of flavor and very filling. I've also had many crepes at Brugge - all delicious! The service... More
