Indeed they are melt- in- your- mouth donuts. Plan to wait in line because that usually is the case;but the group of those waiting will be a friendly group. Oh, and take cash- no credit cards. It is not a restaurant; at this location, there is no seating. See if you can make it home before having to try one... More

Long's has the best glazed yeast donuts in Indianapolis. Long's is a bakery, not a restaurant. So you go in, buy donuts or other bakery items and take them home.

Great variety of donuts to choose from for our Spring Break car ride with the kids. They all picked what appealed to them and kept them full for a few hours. Quick service and very fresh donuts. Service was helpful and we where in and out in minutes and back on the road. Will stop again on our way through... More

Everyone was telling us about Long's donuts. This was our first visit. WOW. Melt in your mouth goodness. Standing in line is well worth it. The smell when you get out of the car pulls you in. I think I gained 2 lbs just waiting to get up to the counter. Glazed donuts are out of this world. Mary Janes... More

Hot and yummy. For many years Long's has been the best donuts in Indianapolis for take out. Don't expect anything more though.

We arrived at 5 and by this time the donuts and sweet treats had been picked over. We still picked up some cookies, Danish, and breakfast items. Family was happy to wait in line. Our attendant was friendly and so were the people in line. Can't wait to try them in the morning.

These donuts are awesome. I love the fact they have been doing it for so long and haven't changed. Make sure to bring cash, they don't accept credit/checks. FAV donut is the applesauce or maple! YUMMMMMMMM

Delicious donuts! My entire family thought the donuts were so yummy. The glazed melts in your mouth! Remember that it is cash only when you go and it's not really in the best neighborhood either. Still worth the trip

These donuts are so good I try to avoid them because I wreck my diet and can't stop eating them. However a few time out of the year when I want to indulge in donuts it's always here. Try the yeast you wont be disappointed. Just FYI if you go the W.16th st location be mindful of your surroundings not... More

I'm a donut aficionado, having sampled donuts from all over the world and Long's donuts were a must-have on my first trip to Indy. What a disappointment. They are exceedingly average, with nothing at all to distinguish them. The yeast donuts were the best of the bunch but nothing special and the cake varieties were very similar in taste and... More
