Pleasant experience during Final Four weekend

We dined at Capital Grille the morning after staying at The Conrad (which is part of the property). We enjoyed our meals of Belgium Waffles and a Steak Hash Skillet. Capital grille is one of my faves. You can never go wrong, however this one is lacking. No kettle chips given or even offered at bar, no sipping rums in bar.. No Zacapa or any other GOOD rum at bar... Water had to be requested, no napkin for water glass, no stirrer for limes requested with whatever rum they did... More

The capital Grille lives up to his reputation of fine dining. The capital Grille is find dining at its best. The service was excellent the food was great and drinks were good. They were Great in honor our reservations that we've made a year in advance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Indianapolis area, and I would... More

Capital Grille caters to the business crowd and as such the staff is professional the portions are measured and the quality superb. What made this experience stand out was the service. Even though there were two conventions going on and gearing up for the final four weekend the staff never flinched with their service. Thank you for making our trip... More

Attached to the Conrad and within blocks of most hotels, this Capital Grille is like most others. Decent bar area serving up smaller than usual martinis. Spring menu didn't have many of the standouts but bone-in filet and ahi tuna were stars as they usually are. Decent but expensive wine list on an iPad. Shrimp cocktail were decent size but... More

I took my father here for his 85th birthday. We were very pleased with the personable service, albeit slow due to the crush of guests attending the NCAA Final Four. Most notable were the crab cakes and the perfectly grilled beef tenderloin with the Kona rub.

We had Easter Brunch here and enjoyed it, but it was not our best experience at a Capital Grill. The asparagus soup was just barely warm and the Cesar salad only average. The Steaks, however, were excellent. Great quality meat and cooked perfectly. Mine came with grits that were bland. We finished with two excellent desserts: the flourless chocolate cake... More

I like the restaurant but hate the bar. Hard to get a drink and no one really waits on you as they are understaffed. The waitress was so busy but she couldn't cover all of the tables.

I am a fan of Capital Grille. I live for their Lobster Mac and Cheese and Lobster Bisque with a great steak. Recently had dinner with business collegaue and it was the worst experience. It actually has me rethinking my overall dedication to the chain. The service was slow and not very attentive - which is a trait they are... More

Decided to grab a late night dessert after seeing a play at the IRT. Service was excellent & the desserts were heavenly! I highly recommend both the cheesecake w/ berries, and the chocolate hazelnut cake.
