Nice place to sit outside

Was here during a conference on a very warm day. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather after being stuck in the convention center all day. My colleague and I shared shrimp cocktail and two pizzas, they were both good. I would recommend and would like to try a steak there sometime.

Went here by myself on a Sunday evening around 7pm. The inside was packed and the wait was 25 to 30 minutes so I sat outside. Outside was really nice except that it was cooler than I would have liked. I ordered the Shrimp Coctail - it's OK, but nothing special. 5 big shrimp with lots of horseradish. The shrimp... More

Wow hat a place. Went there for lunch during a conference.the place has a great lunch special. three course meal for $20. I had Cesar Salad. Also wanted soup, but the soup comes with the half prime rib sandwich I ordered. So I also ordered the chicken tenders which were awesome. Atmosphere is excellent. Staff was great.

We could not get reservations for St. Elmo’s steak house so we went to Harry and Izzy’s. They have the same World Famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail “Five jumbo sized shrimp smothered with the world-famous St. Elmo Cocktail Sauce. With its fiery, daily grated horseradish, the World-Famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail has even been named the world's spiciest food by... More

Ambience is good here, even during lunch. Two of us shared the well-publicized St. Elmo's shrimp cocktail with special sauce. Five jumbo shrimp were served in a bowl covered with a sauce made with freshly grated horseradish and a lemon slice. The server warned that we should avoid eating too much of the sauce at once, and she was correct.... More

Met friends here during recent business trip to Indianapolis. Excellent menu with steak, seafood, pasta choices, assorted starters & sides, and an extensive wine selection. Classic & inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed pork chops, mashed potatoes, and home-made onion rings. Service was a little spotty - our waiter seemed distracted and wasn't as attentive as other servers milling about. But we thoroughly... More

Excellent restaurant! The same quality as St. Elmo's, but with an expanded menu. I had the 4th best steak I've ever had at Harry and Izzy's. Pricey, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

It seems these days with the TSA, and tighter security, what may have been fast is now snails pace. Harry and Izzy's at the Airport, can give you a break from all that. Good food, and a comfortable atmosphere (for an airport) A fair selection, and good service.
