We happened on this place while looking for St Elmo’s and what a pleasant surprise. We were seated immediately. The dining is more casual and yet there are the same favorite items on the menu from St. Elmo’s. The “World Famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail” is worthy of the hype.

A group of 7 of us went for lunch. Its an elegant but welcoming place. I ordered peach tea, brought to me in a bottle and a glass with ice. It was so good!! We asked for bread and it wasn't your typical restaurant bread. It was better! Buttery and fresh baked. ;yummm! I had a filet and it was... More

The food was pretty good and they tried to handle a large crowd. It seem to take a littler longer than normal. Even our waiter told us upon being seated that another large party would be coming in soon, so...

We ate at St Elmo's the night before (sister restaurant), and had to try Harry and Izzys the next day for lunch. It's very clear management knows how to run a restaurant business. Same top notch quality we experienced the night before. Great food and service.

My wife and I both had the lunch feature, pick 2 between appetizer salad and desert and one of 2 half sandwiches. More than enough food and everything was excellent. Ate outside on this 70 degree Saturday.

We live north of Indianapolis and have enjoyed some fantastic restaurants in the downtown Indy area but continue to come back to Harry & Izzy's as a favorite. A sister restaurant to the tourist favorite, St. Elmo's Restaurant, Harry & Izzy's has the same great favorites such as the Shrimp Cocktail with famous cocktail sauce (or infamous depending on how... Our party of six each ordered something different. Only one person received a meal that was more than average. Although the décor was lovely and the service was above average, the food did not live up to our expectations. Only one person received a steak that was cooked as ordered, the rest were overcooked. Side dishes were the tastiest part... More

Ordered the Kansas City strip. Very average especially for the $62 price tag. Service was also just so-so with poor service getting drinks filled. Perhaps it was a bad evening for the staff.

Harry and Izzy's is owned by the same people who own St. Elmo's Steakhouse. It is more reasonably priced, the meat is exactly the same, and even their famous shrimp cocktail is the same. Still the meat is expensive running you anywhere $37-$50 for a steak for dinner. Better option which I was a huge fan of (and definitely did... More

We sat in the bar and had a great sunday lunch. Awesome Bloody Mary with a huge shrimp as a garnish which primed us for a killer shrimp cocktail. Wedge salad with peppercorn crusted steak was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Wife had the salad with seared tuna and it was excellent as well. Allie was our bartender and server...
