I loved the atmosphere in this place, really nice decor like big industrial looking pillars with warm lighting almost like you are dining in a speak easy or something like an old train station or subway station. The drinks were yummy and upscale (I had an indianapolis martini and my friend had a cosmo), we had desserts- I had the... More

I have eaten here twice and enjoyed my food with colleagues. I had the garbage salad and it was satisfactory. I also had the brussel sprouts and they were divine. But the best is the bread pudding! Oh boy! It tastes like a mushy warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on top. Cooked to order. $15 but worth every... More

I had French Onion Soup and Bone in filet that absolutely MELTED in my mouth. 3/4's the price of St. Elmo's. It was a cozy romantic meal on the patio. Loved it.

Small cocktail glasses and martini olives from a school lunch counter started the evening off badly. The steak sat under a warming light too long. The mushrooms were so garlicky that they were un-eatable. Our waitress was 20 years old and had "no idea" what to say or do. It will be my last visit.

Great Art Deco building in the centre of town. Can't fault the rib-eye, it was awesome but v expensive for what it is. If I'm paying $40 for a steak then I expect mash or fries and a veg to be included. The green beans side was cold and undercooked - a few adjoining tables also commented on this.

We enjoyed the famous shrimp cocktail and filet sliders as a late night snack! The cocktail sauce was a little too strong for us, however we asked if, in the future, we could request a milder cocktail sauce and were told that it is available. We capped our evening off with the crime brûlée which was wonderful! We look forward... More

The food was excellent as well as the service. The portions were very big. Great place to eat. There was 9 of us and we were all trying each other's foo. All the food was great. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail was delicious.

Visiting some colleagues in Indy, they picked Harry and Izzy's. Its a relaxed lunch spot with lots to choose from on the menu. The big hits at our table where the "must try" spicy shrimp cocktail - 3 big cold shrimp atop the horseradish based relish. VERY good - and the Sliders - tender meat in a fresh roll. Our... More

We had wonderful steak dinners at Harry and Izzy's. Since I seldom eat beef, it was a great treat. I had the grilled asparagus with the steak and it was some of the best I have ever eaten. We also had their special shrimp cocktail, but while it was good, it was very pricey. Worth a trip, if your pocketbook... More
