I had the ramen as the sushi were not available anymore that late in the evening. We were the last ones in the restaurant at 9pm. Food was good but not the best I've had. Still very authentic, which is the most important IMO.

The sushi was edible, certainly - and we ordered several rolls and nigiri to make sure, and the miso was great--BUT the service was slow and I had to constantly wave to get someone's attention, thus no refill on our pot of tea. The house salad was not good (way too much cabbage and the dressing was just a bitter-tasting... More

My wife wanted to try this place as we had read some good reviews and being lovers of Japanese food we thought we would give it a shot. The menu is good as it has a lot of options both cooked and sushi. The décor was such that it really reminded us of eating at some restaurant in Japan. The... More

The food was delicious! Soup, house salad, chicken teriyaki, and California roll were all quite tasty. I semi-successfully used chopsticks for the first time! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Decent price for the portions, too. Definitely recommend!

Craving sushi on our very long drive from Atlanta to Michigan. This restaurant got a decent review so we went a few minutes out of our way and had a wonderful meal. We were too late for happy hour but it looks like they have great happy hour prices. We had one of the $5 special rolls as well as... More

Tucked away little sushi resturant but well worth the effort to find it. When ever I'm on the north side I have lunch here. Reasonable price super delicious traditional sushi rolls. Great assortment of cooked dishes especially the salmon.

Sakura is fun a delicious, but Asaka is our favorite sushi place in Indianapolis. It is laid back, warm, and quiet, ideal if you want a relaxing dinner with someone interesting to converse with. Not noisy or bustling at all. The food is fresh and extremely tasty and the service has always been friendly and efficient.

If you want authentic Japanese go here. I had the beef katsu curry ( beef curry with a pork cutlet over rice) tonight with a glass of Lemon Chu Hi and it was like being back in Japan. Chu Hi is a great drink made with soda water and shochu Japanese potato vodka- similar but milder than sake). I have... More
