Doin' da magic for 30 year

The patties are awesome, but the curried goat is to die for. Just watch out for bones in the stews. And let the patties cool, these things hold the heat.

I want to go to Jamaica because I love the food here so much. I try to go as often as I can and even take home frozen patties for cooking at home. Awesome food made with soul!

This is the best kept secret in Indianapolis!!! The place is tiny, it only has 2 tables, most people get things to go, but if you don't mind the ambiance, you can eat there too. We love everything they have, especially the curry goat ($4), patties ($1.25 each), and baked chicken ($3, you can get leg quarter, wings and maybe... More

Well seasoned (not spicy hot - though heat is relative person by person) beef filling in a flaky dough pocket. Goat Curry Stew is a satisfying savory dish with 'falling apart' tender pieces of meat served with potato in a thickened curry sauce. I paired with white rice tho am intrigued by the seasoned rice and peas menu item. They... More

Ok so yeah I've been going to this place for years, and not just because the people who work there are so damn nice (and from Jamaica) but because the food is so phucken good! My young kids love it to. I get a coupla patties, rice and peas, coleslaw and a can of soda. Its cheap and good. The... More

This is a hidden gem right here in Indianapolis. I've been frequenting this place over 30 years now. Do NOT go for the ambience. It's a tiny little hole in the wall you would never notice just driving by. Located in a small strip mall, tucked back in the corner. There are only 2 tiny booths for inside dining. There... More

Simple Jamaican food including beef, chicken and goat curry. The beef patties are the big deal. I have had them all in the states and many islands and these are better than most I have had. $1.25 each. The curries are $4.00. Beef Stew also. Don't bring a credit card as only cash is accepted.

Great cold weather food. Staff are nice and the menu is short, but it is good. You can dine in or carry out. They also have frozen patties you can buy and eat later.

Great food! Excellent prices! Very limited seating (two small booths). Just make sure you bring cash no cards accepted.

If you are sensitive to MSG, skip this place. Everything is loaded with MSG. Too bad that they cannot make their food as tasty without adding a neurotransmitter that fools taste buds.
