The food is always consistent at Patachou and the cinnamon sugar toast on sourdough is a must have! I meet friends at this location once a month for breakfast. It is a small, cozy location, and well worth the wait if full.

If you come at the busiest times for this restaurant, you'll be hard-pressed to find a seat for any group larger than two. Try to come during earlier breakfast hours or brunch. The self-serve coffee bar is very nice and lets you mingle with other customers. I highly recommend the open-faced egg sandwiches....they are all amazing!

Convenient, inexpensive, good food, smiling service, great coffee - Café Patachou is the absolute best place for breakfast in Indianapolis. Wide variety of items available - bacon crisp, eggs done perfectly, superb breads - overall a real winner!

I can understand why this Cafe is so highly rated. Featured is an extensive breakfast menu highlighted by traditional favorites as well as so local offerings. The food at Cafe Patachou is fresh and delicious. However, I don't like the self serve coffee idea. I love coffee and during a business meeting it is annoying to have to get up all the time for more. My omelet was good with avocado! yum. Toast and fruit were perfect.
