Another one of my must stop places for dinner. Rick's never disappoints! Great fresh seafood and awesome service!

Can't decide weather the food or the atmosphere was the best part. I have been wanting to try this place for a number of years. It speaks well that it has been open for a long time as restaurants go. Good service and I just had a brunch item which was okay. If I am in the area again I... More

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and I was not disappointed! The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Its very warm and inviting. Our server did a wonderful job and was helpful describing items on the menu. The food was by far the best part! The grainey bread they served as a starter is a nice... More

This was the first time my husband and I just decided to forgo the craziness of large family gatherings and Rick's just a 2 minute drive from home; so we went for Thanksgiving. They put us by the fire, next to a window over looking the lake. The holiday decor was up, they played awesome music and we could not... More

Wonderful atmosphere to eat in, right on the water. We always try to stop and have dinner when we are passing through town as the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The food is excellent, but maybe a little pricey so we usually split something on the menu as the meals are big enough portions to do that.

We had be taken here in the past for meals that we remembered as pretty good. The scenery is wonderful and perhaps our expectations were too high. We met a niece and her family here for brunch and left a little disappointed. I just felt that the brunch menu was catering to the high fat (cheese on everything) crowd, and... More

I've been to Rick's several times over the years and lately it seems to be going downhill. Went for brunch and it was not very good. The food was cold mine and my wife's and did not taste of much. The Bloody Mary was the worst I've ever had. For the prices that are charged just not worth the money.

Friends were visiting from California, and wanted to dine at Rick's. It was a nice evening, so we sat outside on the deck. OMG!! The gnats were SO AWFUL we could barely eat our food. The whole entire time, we were swatting away gnats. The food was just ok, nothing special. My fries were cold, and my friend's order was... More

Our first visit to Rick's Cafe Boatyard we started off our meal with the calamari strips. They were great. They were so good we ordered a second plate of them before our meal. I had the Atlantic Salmon Roulades and my husband ordered the Fishermen's platter. We really enjoyed our meals. Our only negative was our waiter, we ordered coffee... More
