This is one of the best seafood restaurant chains out there. A group of coworkers and I were at a conference and stopped here on a whim for dinner. We enjoyed everything! I recommend the salmon (or anything) with black and blue. All the entrees are good though. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the value. I'd dine here anytime... More

The atmophere was great. The service was very good. Even the company of other customers was special (NFL coach in restaurant). Food was a bit dissapointing. Served barely warm and not very tasty. Maybe I have high expectations and I am too used to Hong Kong seafood. But, in my opinion, their prices are not refected in the dishes served.

Oceanaire is the top choice in downtown Indianapolis for our family when we are wanting a special evening with great food. Everything we have chosen has been wonderful but we have our favorites. First of all, the spinach salad here is the best anywhere-- excellent dressing! Their crab cakes are like the east coast crab cakes and are so good.... More

The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is upscale and relaxed. The food was great and in an effort to please the waiter added toppings to my meal in addition to my colleague's. What I didn't like was that some of the toppings were extra and we weren't told. The waiter also offered my colleague a frequent diner card without... More

We went the weekend after Valentine's day. Food was very good. I had stuffed trout and my wife had scallops. Nice atmosphere; great service. We were reminded of dinner on a cruise ship. The waiter recommended a Three Floyds Beer - Robert the Bruce - that is now one of my favorite beers. Not the best seafood I've ever had,... More

I won't go on and on about what a disappointment this place was. When the word "seafood" is in the name of the restaurant, one assumes that someone at the restaurant knows how to prepare seafood. Wrong! Fish was overcooked, soups were oversalted, appetizers were standard "out of the box" type things. Service was good... Otherwise, nothing impressive about this... More

I'm not complaining about the $15.00 for a martini. It was a very large pour. I'm more disappointed about $50.00 for a Caesar salad and a modest piece of fish. No, that's not a misprint $50.00 - And the fish wasn't that great. Now I don't mind paying big bucks for premium piece of fish. I know what it takes... More

We have eaten here several times. We have always had great servers. This time I was a little disappointed in my meal. The fish I had ordered was a firmer fish and I prefer a flakier one. This is just personal preference. But if you order the fishermans platter you might keep that in mind. The building is very pretty... More

While the service was good, the food was average and the prices were unbelievably high. Two people....two beers (no other alcohol), one shared appetizer, shared salad & shared side dish and two fish entrees. Total? $130!!!!!! And that was BEFORE the tip! There is no warning that the fish is prepared and sent to table with the head and tail... More

Had a great experience years ago in Minneapolis. Unfortunately, this was a disappointment. We dined here the day after Valentine's Day. They were a little behind on reservations so we had a couple of drinks at the bar. Once our table was ready one of the hostesses came to tell us. Instead of allowing us to close the tab out... More
