This place really is worth it. The fish here is so fresh it is as if I were on the boat itself. We had the tuna and it was unbelievably fresh. I expected fresh but not like this. The presentation of the fish was impressive. It was very simple. No big sauces covering up the taste. The atmosphere is also... More

This is where you go in Indy to get the freshest seafood at an upscale restaurant. Perfect for a biz dinner, a special night out, or a quick appetizer and cocktail at the bar before a game. Great martinis, and a pretty nice wine list to boot.

Food was nice but not amazing. Salad was large, the sole was fine. The best things were the asparagus and the (cheaper) Pinot Grigio. Service was average, polite and timely. Should've docked a point for the assumption I wanted the glass of wine that was twice the price but I'm feeling generous. Nice evening

Ate here on a busy Saturday night during a conference and prom. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server was very good and knowledgeable. I shared a mussels appetizers and they were excellent. We all got the scallops and they were the best scallops I think I have ever had. Everything was fresh. The creme brûlée was... More

The restaurant is very attractive, and the wait staff is polished. Good assortment of selections but not much that isn't seafood. Expertly prepared. But...very expensive. The sides run up to $15. So, with an entree and a side, and a couple of drinks, it can easily run $75 per person.

I went with a group of friends once a couple of years ago and it cost more than $100 for just my meal. But the food was good. It's pricey, but you can cut costs by eating in the bar during happy hour. I'm in Indy by myself on a business trip. Tonight I ate at the bar during happy... More

This is one of the best seafood restaurant chains out there. A group of coworkers and I were at a conference and stopped here on a whim for dinner. We enjoyed everything! I recommend the salmon (or anything) with black and blue. All the entrees are good though. A bit pricey, but definitely worth the value. I'd dine here anytime... More

The atmophere was great. The service was very good. Even the company of other customers was special (NFL coach in restaurant). Food was a bit dissapointing. Served barely warm and not very tasty. Maybe I have high expectations and I am too used to Hong Kong seafood. But, in my opinion, their prices are not refected in the dishes served.

Oceanaire is the top choice in downtown Indianapolis for our family when we are wanting a special evening with great food. Everything we have chosen has been wonderful but we have our favorites. First of all, the spinach salad here is the best anywhere-- excellent dressing! Their crab cakes are like the east coast crab cakes and are so good.... More

The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is upscale and relaxed. The food was great and in an effort to please the waiter added toppings to my meal in addition to my colleague's. What I didn't like was that some of the toppings were extra and we weren't told. The waiter also offered my colleague a frequent diner card without... More
