Having visited many Steak Houses across the country, St Elmo blew me away. Impeccable service was the norm despite the crowds. The Shrimp Cocktail was recommended and did not disappoint. It was fiery. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. What a delightful old School establishment. Filled with a young, hip crowd. Amazing experience.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent, very well informed waiter. The shrimp cocktail was over the top! Lobster Bisque was really good. The steaks were tremendous. We just had a marvelous experience.

Of course I was told by many that you must get the world famous St. Elmos Shrimp cocktail. I did and the shrimp was large and succulent but it was the cocktail sauce that makes the difference from good to great. The bone in filet was among the best I had ever had. The temperature on the steak a perfect... More

I had a great dinner at St. Elmo's on a recent business trip. They are famous for the cocktail sauce on the shrimp cocktail, and it is a must have. I also highly recommend the bone-in filet mignon. Not many restaurants offer this cut, and it makes a huge difference in the flavor of the steak. Mine was cooked perfectly,... More

St. Elmo's is perfection down to the last detail. The atmosphere is old school, the wait staff is there for your every need and the food...what can I say...to die for! We had steak, of course, and shared a salad which was no problem. The drinks were excellent. I can't think of a single thing that they could improve upon.... More

Great old school classic steak house. Service wasn't the friendliness, but very efficient. Shrimp cocktail lived up to the hype. NY strip melted in my mouth. Creme brulé was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Was recommend to us by the front desk at our hotel. If you are in Indy, you should check it out.

We had both steak and fish. The salmon was the most expensive that we have had and I'm not sure it was worth the price but it was among the best we had. Service was excellent. A classic Indy restaurant. Worth a visit for anyone visiting Indy.

Stopped in today with my wife for date night. I will say this is one of the best shrimp cocktails I've had in a long time. The stakes are spectacular. The ambience is very calming and easy to enjoy. Will definitely stop back in next time I'm in Indianapolis.

We went to Indianapolis for a horse show and wanted a quick but good meal. Friends told us about St. Elmo, we were the first patrons of the evening and were treated like old customers. The service was excellent, we told them we were on a tight schedule and we were served efficiently and friendly but not rushed. The food... More

Great pub, old styling inside with face brick, wooden beams. Up stairs had a few areas you could sit in dim light on a lounge or tables and hide from the crowd. It is two story and the place was crowded in the main bar area down stairs. We went with a group and had a privet area and the... More
