My husband took me to Ruth Chris to celebrate my special day. I had the beef tenderloin which was excellent - mushrooms, onions, butter - what was not to like. The crabtini was also superb! We split the tomato salad and both enjoyed it! Dessert was the upside down soufflé which was a taste sensation. We will be back!

Always a most enjoyable dining experience. Absolutely the best steak in Indy. Rave on about St. Elmo's (great shrimp cocktail) but if you want the best it's at Ruth Chris's.

Had dinner at this location with family and friends (a party of 8) and had to comment on a few other reviews first. Couple people mentioned that the steaks were "fatty." Quite simply the best steakhouse I've ever been to! The steaks are cooked so that you DON'T have to use a steak knife, and the mushroom top rolls are to die for! If you want to impress someone, this is the place to go!!

You can't go wrong here. The food is very good with large portions. Atmosphere is warm--the service is very friendly and the food is really tasty and affordable. Families are more than welcome. I will go back again. Good Job!!

Hands down the best steak in town! Service her was great, Aaron was one of the best waiters I have had in a long time. He made enough of an impression that I still remember his name. Had a lot of experience with the menu ahs worked there a long time. THanks for a great time.

Ruth Chris Steak House in downtown Indianapolis, IN, is THE place to go for steak! The ambiance is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the food is wonderful! Be sure to make reservations because it is a popular place, on weekends especially. We even saw Payton Manning there one evening after a home game!
