A typical "old spaghetti factory" but a happy staff

Neat decor.. Unusual for the kids to see a trolly car in a restaurant We have eaten in these restaurants in Birmingham and Nashville The spaghetti and meatballs were in need of seasonings..Very bland sauce..needs Italian seasonings as well as salt and pepper. Chicken fettucine was good & gotta... read more

We had a team dinner while in town for a sporting event at the OSF. The service was super - quick, efficient - just what a group of hungry families were needing. We also appreciate the flexibility on our scheduling since we needed to tweak our start time - not a single issue in doing so. Hope to see you... More

Located in an old downtown building, I liked the atmosphere here. The food was good (I'm not sure how you mess up pasta though), and you get a free dessert with your meal!

Parents enjoyed the lunch, but they didn't offer any lunch sizes or prices. Kids menu could use some work, not many choices for kids who don't like pasta (grilled cheese was the alternative).

My boyfriend and I were craving pasta so we decided to eat here for dinner while we were attending a conference in town. We didn't have any expectations and didn't even know this was a chain restaurant. We were so happy with our meal. We ordered the garlic bread as an appetizer and wow was it sooooo good! I need... We were on vacation from Florida and since one of us used to be past residents of downtown Indiana, we decided to revisit this old gem. What a poor experience with the service at about 7pm. We wanted to eat in the toll car for something different, which consists of only a few tables of no more than four people.... More

Went to Indy, and based on destination, we chose The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was an unremarkable meal with an interesting decor. Our party of 4 were all satisfied with our meals but commented that there were so many other choices in downtown Indy this is not a "gotta go back" type of venue. Very kid friendly with a friendly... The food is your average Pasta Dishes. Our party of 7 ~(3 Children) had various dishes from the menu & everyone actually cleaned their plates. The menu offers a good variety, Bread w/ Garlic Butter & Spumoni Ice Cream. All in all it is a pretty good value. The Décor is VERY pretty Old Velvet Furniture, Hardwood Floors, Beautiful Lamps... I had the meat sauce and half butter/cheese pasta. It was decent and the upgraded Malbec went well with the meal. My wife had ravioli and pasta with meat sauce as well. It's a fun place, kind of kitschy and good for families - eat in the trolley. Just don't expect it to be like mama used to make.

No real inspiration in the food, but a place where you can take the kids for a sit down meal at a reasonable price. It is what it is, and that is fine
