Fun, but quite expensive

We had a great evening here. Hubby and I met my dad and sister. Two drinks in the bar were $28. Yikes. We each ordered the four course experience, which was just great fun and a TON of food. We had the traditional alpine cheese fondue, salads, main course with beef, chicken, shrimp and lobster... read more

We do not have this restaurant in our home town but had heard about it from numerous friends so we traveled to Indy to explore it for ourselves. We had a fun evening and the staff was great. We made reservations well in advance and were glad that we did as people were being turned away that didn't have them.... More

If you plan ahead. You can request a private couples booth. Very nice for special occasions. With avg amt of drinks, be prepared to spend $100/each.

My husband and I finally made it to the Melting Pot after a couple years of subtle hinting from me :) It's a great, romantic place. If you've heard this is a romantic spot, it is! There are private, cozy tables, and the process of sharing fondue can be very sweet and intimate. But, there are also tables that had... More

My boyfriend and I love this place. Unfortunately, both times we have gone reservations were filled BUT we sat at the bar and it was still great. The staff is awesome! Bartender was kind of bad but the food made up for it. The cheese is delicious- never thought apples would go well with cheese but it does. This is... More

Although the restaurant isn't quite as intimate and cozy as it used to be at its old location, we still enjoy a good meal there. Servers are excellent and food is great.

We were 3 colleagues having the 45$ menu, starting with a cheese fondue and appetizers, followed by a meat fondue with 4-5 different meat types, ending with a salty chocolate fondue, recommended by the waiter himself. Very satisfying!

We go once or twice a year for anniversaries, special occasions, or because we have a Groupon. Usually, we will get the 4 course meal. Cheese fondue (bread and veggies), salad, entree (meat, veggies, and potato) and chocolate fondue. A leisurely meal is typically around 1-1/2 hours. My favorite is the cheese fondue. The booths offer a little bit of... More

My wife and I spent celebrated our anniversary there and it did not disappoint. We have been there 3 times and each time we have enjoyed a great meal, excellent service, and warm environment. If you have the chance, ask to be seated in Lover's Lane. There are small booths, with a curtain for some privacy.
