Nothing Unexpected

I had been to a Melting Pot in Minneapolis, so I knew what to expect. We got in pretty close to our reservation and were seated in a nice private booth. The hostess let us know it was a busy night, so we weren't helped very quickly. Our server and his trainee were very kind and attentive, but... read more

Had a nice dinner here but thought the service was slow. We each had the 4 course meal. We wanted to skip the salad so we would have room for desert so we got them to go at the end of the meal. The portions were reasonable but there was much too much time elapsed between the appetizer and the... More

The Melting Pot has been the celebration destination for my daughter, so we make it here about once a year. They deliver a consistent product

I'm not sure of a polite way to express my true disappointment and displeasure with this out of touch, elitist dining establishment - except to say it's just not worth the price of admission. I knew back in the 70's & 80's that fondue was all the rage. Now it's just MEH!!! The portion sizes were meager. The prices were... More

The menu choices and pairings are a little bit daunting, however, once that gets worked out it was enjoyable. You get to choose from a variety of sauces and it's great fun to try the different flavors. Make sure you allow extra time, as we were cooking our own food for about two hours.

My family and I have never been to the melting pot. I myself hadn't had fondue since I was quite young. The fondue was mighty fine! It was a blast to be around my wife and son and enjoy a meal without cell phones or texting. Our server,Scott, was thoughtful and kept the courses coming. Bravo melting pot!

We come here on special occasions and usually they put us back in Lover's Lane. We have our very own little private room. This Wednesday they were offering $5 glass specials on wine. We've always gotten the four course meal. We start with a cheese fondue. This time we got the Classic, which is basically cheddar cheese with swiss cheese... More

We went to The Melting Pot on our date night, and overall it was great! The food is amazing, our waitress was very good, and we were seated in a cozy booth that had a romantic, intimate feel. We did the Land and Sea four course experience. Even the salads were great! I had the caesar salad, and the put... More

We arrived quite early at Melting Pot, yet still at the counter they asked if we had a reservation (no, we didn't), and subsequently told us that we either had to wait for 2 hours, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar area, which actually was very nice... just, around the bar there were at least... More
