A Fun Food Experience

We went to The Melting Pot on our date night, and overall it was great! The food is amazing, our waitress was very good, and we were seated in a cozy booth that had a romantic, intimate feel. We did the Land and Sea four course experience. Even the salads were great! I had the caesar salad, and... read more

We come here on special occasions and usually they put us back in Lover's Lane. We have our very own little private room. This Wednesday they were offering $5 glass specials on wine. We've always gotten the four course meal. We start with a cheese fondue. This time we got the Classic, which is basically cheddar cheese with swiss cheese... More

We arrived quite early at Melting Pot, yet still at the counter they asked if we had a reservation (no, we didn't), and subsequently told us that we either had to wait for 2 hours, or we could sit at the bar. We chose the bar area, which actually was very nice... just, around the bar there were at least... More

It's not the usual dining experience. Fondue everything. The cheesy appetizer was what I expected. We had the 4 course option. I wish they would have offered fish/seafood choices for that without the meat. I had the vegetarian option. The entree is for novelty--not for flavor. Dessert is chocolate--chocolate overload over mediocre items like marshmallows, rice krispy treats and store... More

My husband and I recently celebrated his birthday at The Melting Pot. We have spent several special occasions at The Melting Pot and just hung out with family there, but our most recent experience may cause us to substitute another restaurant. We arrived on time, but were kept waiting because the hostess was waiting for someone else in our party.... More

We had a great evening here. Hubby and I met my dad and sister. Two drinks in the bar were $28. Yikes. We each ordered the four course experience, which was just great fun and a TON of food. We had the traditional alpine cheese fondue, salads, main course with beef, chicken, shrimp and lobster. Then, as though we needed... More

We do not have this restaurant in our home town but had heard about it from numerous friends so we traveled to Indy to explore it for ourselves. We had a fun evening and the staff was great. We made reservations well in advance and were glad that we did as people were being turned away that didn't have them.... More

If you plan ahead. You can request a private couples booth. Very nice for special occasions. With avg amt of drinks, be prepared to spend $100/each.

My husband and I finally made it to the Melting Pot after a couple years of subtle hinting from me :) It's a great, romantic place. If you've heard this is a romantic spot, it is! There are private, cozy tables, and the process of sharing fondue can be very sweet and intimate. But, there are also tables that had... More
