Wonderful Cajun Ribeye

My son and I went to Morton's on Saturday evening, and had a wonderful birthday dinner! The top 3 recommendations from the waiter (when asked), were the Cajun ribeye, seabass and the veal chop. I've seen these places around here and there but this was my first visit to a Morton's. I expected a great steak (that is why you go to a steakhouse, right?) and after reading a few reviews here I also expected great service and a steep tab. All things came true :) As an FYI they offer valet. Didn't use... More

Husband and I was in town for Christmas shopping and Colts game. Thought we would give Morton's a try a was very disappointed our steaks lacked flavor ( bone ribeye and peppercorn steak) and the drinks were overly priced 3 beers and two cocktails were $50. Can say we been there tried it but will not go back.

We chose a special place to celebrate a special evening. Reservations are definitely advised to get a table at this great restaurant. Parking is easily located right beside this establishment, although they do have valet parking available should you not want to hassle with the parking lot. We were seated promptly upon our arrival. The feel to the place is... More

Decided last minute to go to Mortons when St Elmos was booked on reservations. So glad we did, I ordered the filet and my fiancée had the Cajun spiced rib eye. They were both cooked a beautifully warm red center medium rare, and seasoned wonderfully. We had the twiced baked au gratin potatoes & brussel sprouts as sides. The service... More

My steak was perfect. I can't praise the meal enough. The service and ambience is really nice. $200 meal for 2, but well worth it.

This place was a total joke and disgusting. First off, it was pouring down rain outside and since I looked so young our server asked for my ID (I am 25 and ordered a Cherry Coke) because apparently it is a rule for sitting in the bar section (even with reservations). I had to walk outside in the pouring down... More

My wife and I dine at Morton's The Steakhouse every year for our Anniversary. This was the 3rd different Morton's in four years for us. There is not much else to say about this place besides it is in a class of it's own. The steaks are outstanding, desserts phenomenal and cannot go wrong with your choice of wines. We... More

I have to say that the Filet Mignon both my wife and I had was an 7 out of 10. We've both had better at home to be quite frank; however, it was cooked perfectly with a nice sear. The sides of grilled asparagus and twice baked potato au graten were enjoyable. The bread that is served is average and... More
