Fried Food at its finest

I try to eat here every race weekend. The Onion Rings are amazing and you get a huge order. The fried tenderloin is good but could use more flavor. We always seem to see some sort of race team members here.

This was the best drive-in I've been to. I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. I expected the cheeseburger to be comparable to one at a fast food restaurant. This burger was huge though and had a lot of toppings! The onion rings were amazing! Definitely order those if you go. I tried some of the root beer too and... More

I talked with Tony Kanaan in the parking lot one time.... and got a picture with him. The food is excellent for what it is, greasy fried Drive-In food. If you want the real deal, you go to Mug-n-Bun. One of the must authentic Indy places to eat. A MUST try meal.

This is another one of those 'there's nothing bad here' places that I have found to be the norm in Indianapolis. I hope Indianapolis folks know how lucky they are in this food department. The Mug-n-Bun is worth the drive for drive-up, dine-in, or take-out - and ask for the free bumper sticker (I stick them on my steamer trunk,... More

Not as good as it used to be, but still worth stopping in for good diner, drive-in food. World famous and been on tv for it's popularity.

Classic, Indianapolis drive-in that brings you back to a simpler time. Good shakes and eats. Definitely a throw-back recommendation. (How many of these are there, any more?)

If you're passing through Indy, this place is only about 1/2 mile off I-465 on the west side of the city (easy on and off), and it's definitely worth a stop. I have been visiting this place for about 35 years (since childhood). The food is very reasonably priced and is very good. The pizza is a nice break from... More

First, this is a drive in diner. One can't expect 5 star food here. I've had hot dogs, tenderloins, burgers, onion rings, fries, and ... the ROOT BEER. I am far from an expert on sodas but this root beer is the best. I tend to like it plain but someday I need to try a float. The service is... More
