We have been going to Mama's for over 11 yrs and it is still one of our favourite restaurants because of the friendly atmosphere, great staff, reasonable prices and great food. Dinner last Friday was a treat - a drink at the bar while we waited for a table in our favourite Rose Room - maybe 12 min - not... More

We had high hopes entering the restaurant - great gated outdoor courtyard, very nice interior with different rooms in which one can dine. Nice table settings. The food, however, didn't deliver. THE FOOD: We ordered calamari appetizer, side salad, wedding soup, a side of meatballs, eggplant puttanesca, chicken involtine and a glass of chardonnay. The calamari was the best part... More

Set in what was the model home for 1920's era Spanish style home development, this family owned independent restaurant is a bit off the baten path, but well worth the car trip. It is an especially lovely setting with courtyard tables, side outdoor tables, and inner room dining areas, both large and small. Would have loved to have sat outside... More

Having been there a year ago the food here has gone downhill dramatically. Had the seafood pasta made up of chopped up tough clam small skate plugs for scallops and overdone mussels. Very poor dish. Waitstaff was fine and expands seating was alright as well. Sorry to see such a decline in quality

Terrific setting, great service and wonderful food. Not as trendy and hip as some but more like comfortable time with a good friend.

Location outside as the sun was setting was a great setting. The food though was not as good as the atmosphere there. Chicken parm was what I ordered....which was good but not great. Penne pasta that came alongside was again ok, but not anything special. I will be back for another and will order something else.

This is by far, the best Italian food I have had. The atmosphere is lovely. There are several dining rooms which are not large, which makes for a more intimate experience. We started off with calamari and their garlic cheese bread. Everyone liked the calamari but the bread was to die for. It was delicious. My beef lasagna was by... More

I really, really wanted to like Mama Carolla's b/c I love family-owned Italian restaurants, but we left feeling disappointed. Here's my quick summary: - Pros: Rosemary Chicken Lasagna - this had great flavor combinations, and was a unique lasagna that my husband would definitely get again - Cons: - Misto Mare (pasta w/shrimp, scallops, clams, etc.) - my pasta dish... This is the first time I have eaten here and it definitely will not be the last. We sat on the back patio and enjoyed a bottle of Riesling. It was fairly busy but after eating the food I understand why. We ordered the Bruscetta to start. Then he ordered the Veal Veal Saltimbocca and I ordered the special a... More

I loved the steamed mussels and the angel-hair pasta. The bread was delicious. Nothing here is disappointing. Service was awesome!! Very good for a date night or special occasion
