Location outside as the sun was setting was a great setting. The food though was not as good as the atmosphere there. Chicken parm was what I ordered....which was good but not great. Penne pasta that came alongside was again ok, but not anything special. I will be back for another and will order something else.

This is by far, the best Italian food I have had. The atmosphere is lovely. There are several dining rooms which are not large, which makes for a more intimate experience. We started off with calamari and their garlic cheese bread. Everyone liked the calamari but the bread was to die for. It was delicious. My beef lasagna was by... More

I really, really wanted to like Mama Carolla's b/c I love family-owned Italian restaurants, but we left feeling disappointed. Here's my quick summary: - Pros: Rosemary Chicken Lasagna - this had great flavor combinations, and was a unique lasagna that my husband would definitely get again - Cons: - Misto Mare (pasta w/shrimp, scallops, clams, etc.) - my pasta dish... This is the first time I have eaten here and it definitely will not be the last. We sat on the back patio and enjoyed a bottle of Riesling. It was fairly busy but after eating the food I understand why. We ordered the Bruscetta to start. Then he ordered the Veal Veal Saltimbocca and I ordered the special a... More

Yesterday was my second time and it was so great the first time I had to take friends this time. I had the chicken lasagna and it was incredible!!! we ate off of each other plates and so I tried the ravioli (made with a pesto sauce), the rosemary chicken, and another dish that was spicy and balsamic (can't remember... Shared a bottle of wine before and with dinner while seated in the garden area. It was a pleasant setting. Although the Cheese Manicotti was tops my Veal Marsala, while tasty, was a bit chewy. I would not order it again. Would enjoy returning during our next visit to Indy.

I am so full! Dinner was awesome! Started with a glass of house wine with an appetizer of stuff mushrooms with crab with fresh bread. Next course soup - Italian wedding soup. Main course - tilapia crusted with walnut and herb topped blackberry basil sauce, side of angel hair with asparagus. I wished I had room for dessert. Great dinner!

Eaten here a couple of times after hearing raves about if for years. The flavors are WONDERFUL!!! I have to get the steamed mussels appetizer or I feel I'm missing out. It's so garlicky and delicious...I could drink the sauce with a straw. You have to dip your bread in the juices they cook the mussels in. OMG. Love the... More
