I have been here less than a week - and the hits just keep on coming. This tiny little gem serves fanastic lunch/dinner and I HIGHLY recommend the Thai iced tea with any meal. I did not save room for dessert but next time I will be ordering that first, specifically the rice/custard item. Affordable, pleasant, and welcoming - I... More

The niece of the original owner has taken over the restaurant. She is still maintaining the high quality of the Thai original food and taste. Thai Papaya is still the best Thai restaurant in Indianapolis. After living in Thailand the taste and food is divine. Located 3905 w. 96th st.

Pad thai is my favorite and this small mom pop type place served it well. Very authentic in taste and service was excellent. Glad it was near our hotel. I try to find a thai restaurant whenever I am in a new city and this was one of the besst. Please come to Columbus ohio.

This is a small humble restaurant but behind that humble front is the best Pad Thai in the city. I've been to several different Thai restaurants in Indy but none of them can beat Thai Papaya's Pad Thai!

Great food, and the price is in line with other Thai restaurants. The service (since it's just a husband and wife) is a little hit or miss, but again, the food is quite good.

I consider that restaurants can be divided into 2 main categories. The restaurants selling food and the restaurant preparing food. The difference is that in the first category one can find owners concentrating on the sale aspect, which might imply portraying the eatery as being part of a certain category such as fast food or selective place. The second category... More

We stumbled across Thai Papaya earlier this year and have been eating there or carrying out weekly ever since. We started to tell all of our friends about it and they have become fans as well. Portions are good size and I like the idea of supporting a mom and pop restaurant. Yes, they are out of some things from... More

Greasy, salty, terrible. Do not waste your time. I took two bites, asked for the check and left. The lady then asked if I don't like Thai food. That's the thing...I love good Thai food and this was not good.

We went with low expectations due to the previous reviews but this is an awesome Thai restaurant. The Thom Yum shrimp soup was terrific, pad thai noodles great, and the Panang curry excellent. It is run by a couple and one waiter--and they were helpful and lovely. I cannot recommend more and I am very critical...hard to find good Thai... More
