Excellent lunch buffet

My niece and I had lunch here. The selection of Indian cuisine was broad on the buffet. The price was right and the service was excellent. Try to butter chicken or the tandoori. They also have delicious freshly baked naan. Be sure to ask for this to be brought to your table!

Just had lunch buffet at saturday noon. I found guy who picks up dishes and rings checks a lot arrogant and misbehaving. He doesn't have manners to talk and said he doesn't care what reviews I am gonna put. I asked for his boss's number to complain and he said he is the boss and he didn't give me his... More

My husband and I finally went here after hearing such good things about it and ever since we went we've been dying to go back. As a matter of fact we're going back today! We went in around noon and were greeted and sat down. Able to choose from A LOT of great dishes and desserts. I was in heaven.... More

My daughter and I ate lunch here and I was very pleased with the food selection and quality of the dishes on the lunch buffet. Finally a place on the Southside with great Indian cuisine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.

Suprise change for lunch and first taste of Indian food. The lunch buffet certainly was a great way to sample a wide array of choices. The selectIons were mildly spicy and pleasing to taste buds. I appreciated the many vegetarian selections. Indian is unique and full of flavor. The owners are really accommodating and insure your satisfaction. I'll look forward... More

I have traveled all over the states and tried a ton of other restaurants...I will not pass through Indianapolis without shooting down to the Clay Oven...it is so convenient as its ten minutes or less from 465 on the south side...Not only is it authentic, but it never gets boring because the daily lunch buffet always improves and varies to... When our previous favorite southside Indian resturant closed down a few years ago, we were left with a definate lack of choices. The other Indian resturant near us had poor service and the food wasn't anything to write home about either. Thus, we were eager to give a new spot a try. The location in a strip mall ins't terribly... More

Friends of mine are always on the lookout for new Indian cuisine in our area. I went with them to the Clay Oven, and they were so right about this place! The restaurant may be located in a strip mall, but upon entering you will feel transported - the colors, the cozy ,intimate atmosphere (this place is rather small) and... More
