It has been several years since visiting Oakley's. Decided to go after seeing the write up in the Indy Star about their duck offerings. What was good: the bottle of pinot noir, the bread, the fried brussel sprouts, the potato/corn side. The "duck and duck" entrée was tough, as in not tender and no real flavor, instead depending on the... More

You could see the chefs creativity in each item that you order. Devil's Eggs are must to order and we tried the Meat Loaf which was delicious. Wine and Desserts were classy too. The dishes are as great in taste as it is presented.

The hallmark of OAKLEY'S is a frequently-changing menu built around fresh, often locally-acquired foods featuring unusual (but creative, well-put-together) combinations and elegant presentation. If you are looking for formula-driven, don't bother. Unlike too many upscale restaurants, Oakley's portions are manageable, so althougn you might want to do so, you won't walk out with 2/3 of your meal slowly declining to... More

I ordered the fettuccine with a tomato sauce, instead of alfredo sauce, it had a little bit of a spice to it and it was delicious. I paired it with a Riesling. This is a great place for a date, or when you want something better than a chain restaurant.

Had the pleasure of happening upon Oakley's with a colleague for dinner. Eric was prompt to seat us at a table of our choosing. He was knowledgable and very well versed when presenting the menu, wine list, etc. He was what made our experience even more enjoyable. So let's get to it... The star of the show...... THE FOOD! Amazing... More

This is one of the best meals I've ever had. I went to Indianapolis with a self-described Foodie who worked very hard to find great places to eat while in Indiana on business travel. This restaurant is definitely expensive, and it's also well-worth the price. The place is very pretty, but I am not sure I would categorize it under... More

We have eaten at Oakleys several times with friends. It is quite pricey, but the food is definitely worth it. Everything I have had has been fresh and very flavorful. It is more of a special occasion restaurant which is odd as it is in a strip mall, but that seems to be typical in Indy!

This is where we take friends and business associates when we want to impress! We head there sometimes just for a meal. Although it may seem pricey, we had a meal next door at a restaurant and it was the same price with inferior food. The dishes are always well prepared and unique. The escargot is fabulous. We like trying... More

While staying in the area for a soccer tournament, my family came upon this quaint bistro. Although it was a pricey meal for our family of four, we definitely enjoyed it! Food was rich and tasted great. My sons split the fried chicken special, while my husband and I enjoyed the fried brussel sprouts and meatloaf. Appetizers were also quite... More

Went with some co-workers to have lunch on a Friday. The weather was warm so we decided to eat outside. The scenery is very nice, much like an European restaurant. The menu is not so large but it has some nice gourmet options. I personally had the shrimp risotto which was very tasty. The only negative about the place is... More
