Had we been aware of this restaurant's attempt at calorie reduction through expensive small portions without bread/vegetable appetizers (except at extra cost), would've chosen different venue for a celebratory event. There are other "foodie" places to choose from with more satisfaction in product and price.

I had a wonderful dinner tonight. Steven, Christie and the staff have a fantastic place. The service was very nice and everyone seemed relaxed and cheerful. The menu is varied and a treat. I loved the small plate sizes. The shrimp corndog is a must if on the menu. Prices were very reasonable. I didn't think they were all that... More

My husband and I went to Oakleys this past Saturday evening and what an exceptional meal; here's a quick glimpse..... Pros: - Food was exceptional. We started with 3 small plates (bacon wrapped apriocot, Tennessee eggroll and duck confit almonds) and then had 2 large plates for our entrees (wild boar and pork tenderloin). First, the small plates - they... More

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Indianapolis. Excellent and creative menu that will make for plenty of interesting dinner conversations. Although it is located in a strip mall, the interior is nice, the service was excellent, and the food was even better. Would highly recommend, and certainly competes with any other restaurant in the city.

This restaurant took me and my colleague by surprise. It's very unassuming from the outside but the ambiance and quality are very nice on the inside. The food is very 'fussy' which some people call gourmet. I prefer larger portions for the prices they charge but the chef obviously has creative flair so I can see it appealing to the... More

Located in a strip mall, you would not expect this restaurant to be as nice as it is. I picked it because I did a quick search for Indy restaurants in the $$ range, but I was in a hurry, driving from Bloomington to Indiana and trying to find a place to eat before a flight back home. I should... More

The food here is excellent and a bit expensive. This is a great place to go on a special occasion. I think that it is one of the best restaurants in Indianapolis.

Oakley's is is one of the finest restaurants in Indianapolis. The quality of the food is terrific and the prices are reasonable. From Escargot to Salmon Paillard with morel mushrooms to Suckling Pig - this menu is first class! The wait staff is very knowledgable and attentive. We thought the quality of the cocktails were especially good as well. You... More

You might not expect to find such an excellent experience in a strip mall, but that's the only surprise at Oakley's. The service, atmosphere, quality and originality of the food are consistently superb. Every visitor to Indy--and every local too--should take the opportunity to spend an evening at Oakley's. I recommend going with a group so you can have a... More

Lots of fun and interesting menu items. Everything tastes great. We found more appetizers, small, and medium plates that we were interested in over the entrees so we ordered a lot and shared.
