Oakley's Bistro, Master Chef!

When we celebrate or when we are hungry, we go to Oakley's Bistro. His appetizers are fun and good and his entrees are Comfort Food from a great chef! I have never had a bad meal there and now when my adult daughters want to go out, Oakley's is where I am buying. A pretty good trubute to a great... read more

June 9th Signature Dinner featuring St. Francid Winery. Wonderful meal and wine was delicious. The signature dinner is foodie must. Give it a try. #1 chef in Indy.

The food and wine here were amazing! From the appetizer to the main course, we simply couldn't get enough. Would highly suggest taking your significant other here for dinner.

A first class restaurant on a strip mall in Indianapolis? Yes, indeed. It's a modest sized room with the kitchen in view--a nice ambiance along with friendly, knowledgeable, efficient servers. And the food! There are perhaps 15 small plate appetizers and at least a dozen entrees--along with nightly specials. Our dinners were outstanding. Mixtures of flavors in beef and pork... More

1st time to Indianapolis. Stayed at Carmel and found this place through TripAdvisor and also Google. The menu looks good for all of my business associated, as some of them are vegetarians. We arrived on a Wednesday evening when they were not very busy, and were readily seated. The waiter made some very good recommendation on beer and wine. He... More

One of the nicer restaurants in Indianapolis, offering a nice selection of entrees at a mid-range price. I love the lobster pot pie served in a small cassoulet dish. They offer wine paired tasting menus, and these are a sell-out event, so reserve your spot. Rich flavors, complex flavor profiles, I enjoy the variety offered!

Best dining experience I've had in Indiana. Unassuming exterior in a strip mall. Really creative menu on the inside. Lobster waffle appetizer was great. Small garlic waffle with lobster chunks. Duck duck was great as an entrée. My wife vegetable "Wellington" which feature veggies wrapped Wellington style in puff pastry. Service was very attentive without being pushy, always had an... More

My wife and I ate here for the first time recently. The interior decor is very nice, sort of a rustic elegance. We had made a reservation, and when we arrived at our table the water glasses were already filled, which I thought was a nice touch. There were only adults in the restaurant, which is appropriate as there is... More

We went for my husbands bday while we were in town from cincinnati. It was amazing and well worth the drive from downtown Indy. The appetizer egg rolls were fabulous! I'm still dreaming of them. My entree (braised short ribs) was also wonderful. My husband got the meat loaf and love it but I could tell he liked mine better!... More
