We went on thanksgiving eve with 8 people. Moderately busy. Who wants to cook on Wed night when your cooking all day Thanksgiving? Not our first trip to Bistro its easy to find ( corner west 86th and Township line road) lots of parking and the FOOD IS ALWAYS GOOD. BISTRO is moderately priced, unless your ordering bottles of wine,... More

From the moment we walked in the door we liked this place. The hostess overhearing that we had left our glasses behind quickly came to our assistance with a spare pair for us. Don't be fooled by simple store front. Inside is very warm and inviting. The food was beyond great. Creative, well presented, and delicious. Every dish was unique... More

It has an unprofessional menu, looks like a school project for some kid and it looks like a fancy restaurant so it does not match. The appetizers was too expensive for the little quantity they brought. Main course, service and dessert was good tho.

It has been several years since visiting Oakley's. Decided to go after seeing the write up in the Indy Star about their duck offerings. What was good: the bottle of pinot noir, the bread, the fried brussel sprouts, the potato/corn side. The "duck and duck" entrée was tough, as in not tender and no real flavor, instead depending on the... More

You could see the chefs creativity in each item that you order. Devil's Eggs are must to order and we tried the Meat Loaf which was delicious. Wine and Desserts were classy too. The dishes are as great in taste as it is presented.

The hallmark of OAKLEY'S is a frequently-changing menu built around fresh, often locally-acquired foods featuring unusual (but creative, well-put-together) combinations and elegant presentation. If you are looking for formula-driven, don't bother. Unlike too many upscale restaurants, Oakley's portions are manageable, so althougn you might want to do so, you won't walk out with 2/3 of your meal slowly declining to... More

I ordered the fettuccine with a tomato sauce, instead of alfredo sauce, it had a little bit of a spice to it and it was delicious. I paired it with a Riesling. This is a great place for a date, or when you want something better than a chain restaurant.

Had the pleasure of happening upon Oakley's with a colleague for dinner. Eric was prompt to seat us at a table of our choosing. He was knowledgable and very well versed when presenting the menu, wine list, etc. He was what made our experience even more enjoyable. So let's get to it... The star of the show...... THE FOOD! Amazing... More

This is one of the best meals I've ever had. I went to Indianapolis with a self-described Foodie who worked very hard to find great places to eat while in Indiana on business travel. This restaurant is definitely expensive, and it's also well-worth the price. The place is very pretty, but I am not sure I would categorize it under... More

We have eaten at Oakleys several times with friends. It is quite pricey, but the food is definitely worth it. Everything I have had has been fresh and very flavorful. It is more of a special occasion restaurant which is odd as it is in a strip mall, but that seems to be typical in Indy!
