Love this place. Used to to go here all the time when we lived in Indy. Awesome beer selection, with a lively & enjoyable atmosphere. Love the food, too. Great Scottish food, with vegetarian selections that kept me going back. Love this place, and definitely recommend it for travelers and locals alike. Great locale & neighbourhood...

The Haggis appetizer was very good, reach, earthy and delicious. Scotch Eggs similarly very well done. Fish was battered heavier than I would have liked, and cooked in oil too hot - batter was very dark on the outside yet the fish was a little watery inside. Bread and Butter pudding was a loaf; bigger than it needed to be... More

We came in just for drinks but was able to get the best seat in the house! It nice they open the windows and you can sit, drink your beverage and people watch! It is a great place! We want to return for dinner next time in town!

Scot pub with friendly staff and tasty food. Good drink choices...deserts too. Warm weather they open windows that you can watch the world go bye.

Had dinner here on Cinco de Mayo and enjoyed an open-air seat facing the revelry at Bakersfield. Our server was training another and the team was very helpful and friendly. Scotch Egg was excellent and, as my daughter and I were feeling adventurous, we dared to try (for the first time ever) the Haggis Sampler appetizer. Haggis was surprisingly un-gross... More

We were looking for a tasty lunch in a casual setting. Our waitress made recommendations of the popular menu items. We shared a Scottish Egg Tossed salad and a Steak pie. Delicious and filling.

My boyfriend and I are here for lunch and the food was great. There service was wonderful and everyone was friendly as well. Our waitress checked on us many times. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food. We sat in the restaurant part but the bar was nice too. I would recommend for lunch and a night out on... More

If I lived in Indy, this is a bar I'd frequent. It's laid back, friendly service, fair prices, good food, nice beer selection. What else do you need? The scotch eggs are quite good. The beer battered chicken sandwich is what keeps me coming back. Mass ave is saturated with a lot of good choices, but I can't seamed to... More

This is one unique and very good burger. If you haven't had one then I won't spoil the surprise. This is a cool pub on Mass Avenue in downtown Indy. The atmosphere, service, and beer selections are good. They also have Scottish fare, including Haggis if you dare.

We ate at MacNiven's this past weekend, party of 4. The atmosphere is very homey and the food was amazing. I had the vegetarian "Scotch" Onion Soup...yummy. The others in our party had Ahi tuna salad (a little spicey for her, but super flavor), their version of Shepherd's Pie which they call Mince N' Tatties (couldn't rave enough about the... More
