This is a cool really old bar oozing with atmosphere. The Blues Brothers vibe works and this is a big bar. With a bar area, larger restaurant style area and a nice offshoot room great to be away from the bar or the large area....Full bar with nice size beer options. The burgers here are great value and taste. Good size, juicy and worth the price. Had good time hanging out and a great stop. Walkable from the downtown where Lucas Oil and Gainbridge fieldhouse. Safe to walk to and from. The service was excellent as she checked in on us but did not bother us. The drinks were well made and worth the price too.More

Slippery Noodle Inn is a music and drinks place. It’s a lot of fun with the right company. Food is average bar food, but you’ll have enough to soak up the alcohol. Spouse and I have been coming for the last 20 years and it’s...always been fun, with two stages and a friendly, easygoing atmosphere. They gave us an afternoon allowing local kid and adult bands on the back stage, which was amazing to those of us that understand what it means. We’ll be coming for the next 20 years.More

Driving thru Indianapolis and we are so happy we found this restaurant for lunch! We love historic buildings and this one is the oldest in Indy. What a treasure! Extremely clean and well maintained. The blues and jazz artifacts, especially Blues Brothers memorabilia, is very...fun! The food and service were excellent as well. Thanks for the hospitality Indy!!More

Looking for a place to eat lunch during the Grand Nationals Bands Competition. Happened upon this place which is a few blocks away from Lucas Oil Stadium. It had great selections, good food, reasonably priced, and great service. Would go to this place again. Historical...as well!More

I am in Indianapolis to see my daughter at an extended weekend long competition. The prelims are 2 days long from 7am to 11pm! 😩 We left kind of late from our home city in Michigan and barely made it to the 8pm performance. We...stayed for a couple of hours after our kids performed and hadn’t eaten dinner. We stopped into this restaurant because it looked intriguing and had the word FOOD on it. Since it was so late, they did not offer the full menu. One of us got the chicken wings and the other 3 got the spicy chicken sandwich. For sides we got fries, Cajun fries, and tots. We all had drinks as well. We happily ate all of our food. It was very good. The side portions were not even I would say but not a huge deal. Overall, very happy with what we got and that we got to eat at all. It was a relaxing end to a hectic day. I would go here again.More

The title was not supposed to be negative. The food was quality bar food. I just loved listening to the blues while eating dinner. I heard it was the oldest bar in Indiana. there are many famous entertainers that have left their mark on this...establishment, and it was something cool I got to experience on my business trip.More

Good bar food and wonderful history here. Tonight however our service was slow, forgetful, and laughable. New waitress who wasn't supported and would be gone for way too long even though we were the only ones in the room.

Stopped for a quick lunch while attending an event at Lucas Oil. They were busy and appeared to be a little short staffed but the server ran his butt off and did an awesome job!! The food was very good. I had a Philly quesadilla...since the server recommended it and it was great. We will make this a regular stop now since we come here a couple times a year for Marching Music events. Great job all.More

This is not your typical bar food, even though this restaurant is the oldest bar in the state of Indiana. They have legitimately good food. We have enjoyed just about everything on the extensive menu. Plus, there is great ambiance, with live music regularly in...the evenings. A huge bonus for a downtown restaurant is that they have there own free parking lot. If it is crowded, the restaurant can be loud, but it is a bar, so that's to be expected. If you are downtown, this spot is a must visit.More

Walking in to what is considered Indy's oldest bar I didn't know what to expect. Pours were fine, staff was unfriendly and understaffed. The wings were without doubt the worst I have ever had (overly fried, tasteless). Out of the order of 7 could I...could only stomach two pieces. I'll be back to try the music.More

Had a great time this past Sunday night getting prepared for National Championship game. The staff were real friendly and the atmosphere throughout this unique bar/restaurant was awesome. Really enjoyed the setup of multiple rooms and stages. 2 bands playing at same time and there...was really no bleed over. Food was good and plenty of drink options. If our crew from Georgia is ever back in Indy, this will be a must stop! Go Dawgs!More
