Warm Donuts? Take My Money!

My colleagues were convinced that I had not had a REAL doughnut until I had a LONG'S doughnut. They were right. I had two before I had to stop myself. Bring extra cash. Arrive early for the best selection. Rationalize your need to hog all the doughnuts, but instead just buy extra to share with... read more

My colleagues were convinced that I had not had a REAL doughnut until I had a LONG'S doughnut. They were right. I had two before I had to stop myself. Bring extra cash. Arrive early for the best selection. Rationalize your need to hog all the doughnuts, but instead just buy extra to share with comrades and loved ones.

The best donuts I've ever had. They only take cash so make sure to stop by an ATM before you get in line. The line may being, but it moves fast. Don't waste time standing around. Know your order by the time you get to the front. Guests and management frown upon an indecisive customers when it's their turn to... More

One of the "BEST" bakeries in the country! There is nothing that isn't worth having, but my favorite is the Cinnamon Fried. Be prepared to wait in line, but it is worth the wait.

Long's is a staple for everyone in Southport and surrounding areas. I've had them growing up and have them on occasion now (when I allow myself the luxury!). They always have been and always will be the best donuts you'll ever eat. Do yourself a favor and try them if you haven't already..you'll be hooked!

I though Krispy Kremes were the best until I found Long's Bakery. Oh MAN are these good! I can't stop eating them! I agree with some of the other reviewers, that the employees aren't the most friendly or customer service oriented, but I don't mind putting up with that to get these amazing donuts. Not only are they delicious, but... More

I am a southsider who remembers a bakery by the University of Indianapolis, now called UINDY. The name of this bakery was University Heights bakery, a little hole in the wall. I was devastated when they closed, then a co-worker introduced me to Long's and I have been hooked. I can not drive by there without stopping for donuts. In... More

Returned after having been away for some time. Maybe it was the day and time I went, early afternoon on a Wednesday vs. a Saturday AM, but the selection was much more limited. The good news was I walked in and placed my order, no waiting! The donuts were good but the selection was more sugary than previous visits and... More

Love going to longs but the employees are very rude. They usually run out of doughnuts early in the day and won't make more. I still go back because the doughnuts are so good but dread it because of the employees. I hear the other location had better customer service.

No donut here in Florida can compare to Longs. Everytime I visit my hometown of Indianapolis, I stop here. It's a popular place and the lines can get long, but it's well worth the wait. The smells are free!

Excellent place for donuts which is confirmed by the line that is frequently out the door. No worries though, they move fast and will have you out in no time. I go there anytime we want a special treat for breakfast. The donuts aren't too sugary like a lot of chain places. The only downside is that they are cash... More
