So Many Choices

I was not a Sushi lover until I ate here. Our party of 5 adults and 4 young teens ordered a variety of dishes and all were so delicious! Our favorites were Crunchy LA, Fat House, BMW, Sushi Poppers, Speedway and Godzilla!!

My husband and I and my parents were visiting Indy and wanted to eat at a Hibachi grill on the way home. Their online menu showed Hibachi food and prices. There is no hibachi grill. They said they prepare it in the back. You will not get the hibachi experience at this restaurant, but you will pay the price! The... More

Happened upon this restaurant, and boy, we're glad we did! Our party had the seaweed salad, shumai and fried calamari as appetizers. Seaweed salad was delicate and delicious. The shumai was as good as any I've had in Japan. For main entree, we ordered 3 sushi rolls to share. They were HUGE -- first time we've been so full that... More

Looking or a special sushi night I was not disappointed. The tuna, "rock and roll" and cucumber roll was exceptional. When our party ordered the dinner specials, it went a little downhill. In all honestly everything was prepared and served very well with the exception of the shrimp in the hibachi chicken and shrimp. The shrimp honestly tasted like rubber.... More

I had no idea of the existence of this establishment until we stopped in on the spur of the moment. Residential conversions into restaurants can be hit or miss but this one felt comfortable from the outset. All our dishes were expertly prepared and the Tsunami and Snow White rolls were truly outstanding. Those two items were as good or... More

I stopped in alone fairly late one evening while in the area on business. What first struck me was the interior was spectacularly decorated. An old house turned into an attractive, compact sushi place. The server, who I suspect was at least the manager, if not the owner was an absolute peach. She made me feel instantly welcome, and really... More

Sushi wasn't terrible by any means but I've had better. Little pricey compared to their competitors. Miso soup was edible but again, have had much better. The Debbie roll was my favorite. Just a warning tho.. The owner has a very different personality so don't get offended the way I did when they asked us to leave since we were... More

Having visited all three of the major players for Sushi in Greenwood in past week, Yokohama is the hands down favorite for the freshest most creative selection of sushi rolls and salad. Well worth the splurge and higher end price for the special rolls. They are huge rolls stuffed with ingredients. Great to share. Debbie will make whatever variation you... More
