We always enjoy going here when we are at French Lick. They don't take reservations but always find a way to get our big group in. They have a great variety of food and so far everything I have tried has been. They were short handed so we were there for a long time. It is a good place but... More

Tonight we decided to try again Last time we were ignored in the bar and left after 15 minutes Not exaggerating and there were only 3 other tables occupied with 2 bartenders and at least 2 waiters talking in the corner Our server was good- place was packed but the food was ok Nothing spectacular I wish they could be... The food was terrible and overpriced. I ordered a fish sandwich ,to much crust and mushy inside, The hamburgers seemed to be a frozen pattie form. If I am paying 9.00 dollars for a hamburger , I prefer fresh beef, not a beef filler from Wal-mart. A total waste of money.

We're in town for a company banquet and had lunch here , the appetizery (fried Pickles) tasted over cooked and under prepared. I had the Buffalo chicken rap and the sauce tasted extremely old and stale. I told the waitress and I was given a apology but that was it. I didn't eat 25% of it either so it wasn't... More

We ate dinner while in the area on Labor Day. We sat in the bar area. We both ordered beer. Our server that started with us told us after she took our drink/appetizer order she was being cut and someone else would take over. The server that took over-took our order and pretty much we didn't see her again. Our... More

Get away from the casino and resort hotels, and have good meal surrounded by Larry Bird memorabilia (where the '33' comes from!). Known for steaks, but we had the pork tenderloin sandwich and pork chop dinner--both excellent! Good selection beers, fine service from George; definitely with a stop!

The reviews for this place were contradictory, so we were a little hesitant about going. However, this place is just fine. We both had steak. Nothing gourmet, but cooked properly. The service was good. Waitress was prompt, knowledgeable & courteous. Sports memorabilia did nothing for me, but so what. Everything was acceptable. I would return if I'm ever in French... More

Very well done, Larry Bird! The memorabilia/decor was fantastic. The old, hardwood floors make you feel nostalgic and the general ambience is sporty and casual. The service was very good; however, we were seated prior to 5:30 and had no wait. I recommend arriving prior to 6:00 on a weekend night. We were waited on promptly and accurately and served... More

We dined at this restaurant a year ago and it was great. This time, however, we were extremely disappointed. They were out of three items on the menu and did not inform us until they were about to bring them out. An entree and side were completely cold. The waitress was unapologetic and rude. Another waitress offered if there was... More

My wife and I stopped here for dinner when we first got into town in the evening. The ribeye was great. My wife got the fish and chips and thought the fish was good the fries were just that. The asparagus was good as a side but we are spoiled my wife makes great asparagus. We had to wait half... More
